I get it though on the "all white builds.." he could have went white and black like I did and saved a few Bucks though. Like do a white Case and then have some black and white Parts. I kind of have the same thing going on.. I went with an White Phanteks P500A, And it has a really nice Black on white look to it.. So I went with white and black.. Like My corsair PSU is Black and shows through on the side. Like he had to have the White PSU too. And when you want to go with all white Builds and including the Rad it gets expensive!!! I am referring to the first Ryzen Build you listed.. There is always a white paint tax on PC parts.. When I do a PC Build the first 4 parts I think of in this order is.. 1.CPU/MOBO, 2.GPU, 3.PSU, and then 4.Case, and I would say the 5th most important thing is the main Boot drive, don't cheap out on that part either.. Then from their from their you can start to cheap out a little bit.. And I see people cheeping out on their storage too, which Blow's my mind… These same people will rail on you over the PSU you chose, and then tell you to buy the cheapest NVME you can find..
I paid $2700 for my whole build but that was 2 months ago.. Today my build would be closer to $2200 with the GPU price drops and CPU's too..

I've been wanting to ask you a question about APUs. The 5600G costs $280, and the 5700G costs $347 here in India. I'm okay with paying a little extra but I don't know what motherboard would work with this CPU, and whether 2 more cores are even worth $67.
I don't plan to buy a GPU for 2 years, and I want to play games like Minecraft, classic Assassin's Creed titles, racing games and MMORPGs. The only FPS game I might play is Valorant, and 30-60fps is enough for me at 720p or 1080p. I'm also a musician and I want to produce music on a Digital Audio Workstation. On top of that, I do a tiny bit of photo and video editing, and I also plan on buying a VR set after 2 years or so.
Great show, and that is a really great advice how to buy a 2nd hand GPU. For ultra budget level, some of the old GPU (RX570/GTX1080) are really better than the entry level Nvidia/AMD released now.
Managed to score a 6950 XT on Tuesday morning when they dropped from the AMD website. Got it Friday at noon. The price to performance is utterly terrible. Apparently it is even worse than the 6900 XT for mining. Insane.
Oh and that all white cooler is beautiful.. I get it when people pay extra for looks..

I feel you on the 2019 CPU. I still run a Ryzen 9 3750x and It's time to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 5700x. Great chose for the 6700xt. I have the Radeon RX 6700XT and I LOVE IT! Think of it being between 3060 and a 3070 Video Card. It's a GREAT Mid range Rocking Video Card. And I was a HUGE Nvidia Guy and now I'm checking out Radeon.
I literally am doing an all white build and im planning to spray paint my 66 dollar case. jesus this build gives me a heart attack because I bought a 12400 and planning to go with a 3050 as well lmao
All I'm doing right now is saving money. Maybe within the next month or so I'll upgrade my GPU, and then after that I'll slowly work on my "list", replacing stuff as I get money and as I feel the part in question needs an upgrade.
On a gen 3 a 6500xt is almost the same performance….it is an awesome 1080p gpu if you dont stream. You really cant beat it at $200.
Built my new pc, bought an rtx 3070ti rog strix, got the worst coil whine i have ever heard. Replaced it due to coil whine but upgraded to the 3080 instead (also rog strix) and they both have the same coil whine 🙂
Can I mix a i3-12100f with a rx 6600 or should I go amd?

At first I was like "hmmm, I think there's a better case like Tecware Forge M that also cost around $40 in my country, why don't you pick it", then I head to the Amazon, and that I just remember that affordable case from China is quite hard to get cuz shipping issues etc. Anyway, nice info on the building suggestions. I already saving some money for 3060, but it seems the price here actually increased, compared to US market that already closing to MSRP. I don't think I'll move to 3050, but let's wait until summer, I kinda hope the price is stabilizing here.
