I would go with the 8 gigs for future Profing unless it’s a build under 600 usd but then I would rather save and build a “better” pc rather then buying Lower end hardware that need to be upgraded much sooner to keep up

I got 32gb ddr5 for $110 and the ddr4 kit was $90. Just bite the bullet and go ddr5 it really isn’t much more these days
