I ordered mine and they just never sent it to me. Eventually they told me they ran out of stock and cancelled my order. Still annoyed about that.

Hello. I recently picked this machine up and am really enjoying your series. I am now looking at purchasing a new monitor to pair with my 3070. I was considering a 1440p ultrawide but unsure if that is the best decision. Do you have any recommendations on monitors?

Thank you for this! I went for the 3060. I’m using a laptop with a1650 so honestly anything is an upgrade for me. None of the games that I want to play (or in the future) really warrant paying for a 3070. I couldn’t really care about 4k. I want 1080 and at least 144fps. 3070 definitely seems “future proof” but I’ve had this laptop for years and there hasn’t been a single game I couldn’t play.

Hello friend, first of all thank you for your content that helps a lot, since I just bought the same pc, but I do not have the rgb keyboard functions per key. I only have sections like: all keys, left side and right side as only center side. Any help or solution? I look forward to your answers and thank you for your time.

Will this computer run my quest 2 vr headset ?

I bought this same exact model (same gpu/3070/16gb/1tb ssd) and unfortunately they didn't allow me to upgrade to 32gb when I bought it so I settled for 16gb. Since the ram is soldered I'm not able to add more in the future. For my needs now I'm 0% worried about being able to play and do whatever I want (it's more than enough for me right now, I don't do any video editing and the most I do is stream/game/web browser simultaneously). But will this be able to last me into year 5, 6, 7 of gaming? I'm coming off a 10yr old desktop computer 660ti graphics card and 8gb ram and I still use it for basic stuff and basic gaming but I basically stopped heavy gaming off it about 2 years ago since it was at its limit (8 yrs for a desktop PC, I ain't complaining). How long do you think this will last and will I severely be at a loss without the 32gb? Realistically I'd be happy if it lasted me 5-7 good years.

Hi Mash, i need ur help at something
now i have bought this laptop yesterday with same specs but unfortunetly when i compared it with my old laptop i felt like there is a obvious difference in colors and my alienware colors look more worse than my old one cuz seems like the white color goes yellowish do u have any idea?
and by the way when i saw this review it looks like my alienware colors too.

I usually thought alienware design is rubbish for their gaming laptop line up, but this iteration since r2 are simply gorgeous. Those design is exquisite, cant believe something gammerish can look asthetic like this, no other brand can do this.

I luv the colors but it would look even cooler if the track pad was black.

This is the first Alienware laptop Ive seen that actually looks like it came from an alien spaceship

Many thanks for your review, I find it precise, honest and one of the best I've seen so far. I have an offer to buy one, but with 144Hz screen and 3060 Nvidia card. In your opinion is it worthy to get one for 1,600 GBP in the UK, I got massive discount, however I'm still not sure as it got 16Gb ram and 1Tb SSD. Many-many thanks for your advice

Would you recommend the i9 over the i7 for mostly gaming? I got a good deal I think for an i9 3070 360hz with 32gb of storage and a 1tb hard drive for $1500

The overall turn off I got from this laptop is the "hybrid power design". Basically it's dell's way of saying "Hey we're shipping this laptop out that's capable of reaching near-pc speeds but we implemented this 'feature' so your laptop is in a constant stage of charging." To summarize, they ship these laptops with inadequate chargers and it ultimately throttles your system regardless of temperatures…
