Actually the prehispanic civilization that was located in the city of tenochtitlan was the Mexicas not the Aztecs, so it would make more sense that you should be playing as a mexica instead of aztec, because the spanish conquistadores had join forces with other prehispanic civilizations to go against the mexicas.
They need to make the main character shorter. Aztecs were very short.
