The thermals aren’t at all impressive. Now that maybe cause I live in the tropics where room temperature is atleast 28 C, but the CPU will be pushing 95C whilst in turbo mode for a game like Watch Dogs. To counteract this I’ve had to undervolt the CPU by 145mV and also underclock both the CPU and GPU(since it’s a shared heat channel and the gpu heat is dumped on the cpu). In general, performance is always banging!! But I like having lower temps for peace of mind. Killer hardware tucked into a package that can’t cool it efficiently—if you live in a cold environment you’ll be fine.

The laptop is very well built lnfo.help/-AsusROG?ef It did come with a lot of stickers on it, which peeled off fairly easily. If there are stickers on the fan area of your laptop, wait till it heats up and they will peel of much easier. The screen looks great and has thin bezels due to Asus removing the webcam and packing it separately. I didn't mind this feature as I don't have use for a webcam. To note, there is still a mic built into the monitor.
What is the battery life
This or acer predator helios 300? That one has really good thermals aswell and is cheaper.

Hello friends dont buy this laptop . I saw this video and got impressed from the laptop and I bought it. I dont do much of gaming and the computer graphic is got burnt just in one year. because it gets very hot for no reason. and now no one wants to repair it because this computer is very special in design and its parts are hard to find and new parts are so expensive. this laptop cost me 2400 in canada. and now its burnt its very sad. I feel so disappointed @Dave lee . I follow you like a computer God. :-(. you need to know people follow you seriously and they really take your advise before buying anything.

Both are very similar. There both around £1000
The problem im having is the gm501gm screen is too small with big bezels.
The ga502du seems slightly underpowered and has a mobile cpu in.
Im after something in between for around £1500.
Can anybody recommend a model for me.
It would need to have AAS. Where the cooling lid undernearth opens.

At 2:55 you say there is no print screen button on the keyboard but look at 2:05. There is a PrtSc button close to the right alt key.
To me, having the trackpad on the right would be my equivalent of using my mouse on my right side as I'm right handed. But for left handed people, this setting would be more interesting.

I just got my hands on one of these, and I really really like it so far.
The only thing I'm worried about is overclocking. I always thought that overclocking can be harmful to laptops. I mean it could shorten the life of your hardwares.
