False positives or false alarms from your antivirus are harmless files or URLs that are incorrectly identified as malicious by the antivirus program. Sometimes software programs can act and behave like malware or viruses, but this does not mean they program is malicious is a false alarms. Even if you check the file or URL with virustotal and it also flags it as malicious, it does not mean it will hurt your computer, its what we call a false positives. Thank you that was very educational. I understand it now. Thanks.

Great confusion: I confused Britech with Dr. John Campbell, computer virus for covid virus, one of these guys' test result — all of a false-positive test video.

windows 11 and 10 have been blocking everything so much I have to add to exceptions and fire wall people should really complain to Microsoft about this it's a true problem.

  4. Oletta Liano

I don't use any anti-virus software, so I've never had any of these problems. I also don't download any files to my PC other than Firefox and the needed AMD drivers.

  5. Andi Bivolaru

I've been using windows integrated protection only for the last 5 years or so and I never had any problem with any kind of malware. At least I never knew.
It all comes of how responsible you are when you're using your PC.
If your job or hobby is trying dubious software from various sources you would better use an antivirus. If you have the habit of clicking on every link that might appear on your screen or open spam mails or mails you get from unknown addresses, no antivirus can protect you.

don't give the liberal government any ideas they might tell you to mask your pc

You could make a video about how infected 15-10 year old cd-roms and dvd that came with Computer Magazins (paper issue) were – They are littered with stuff that gets red flag going on everywhere – and i guess they can wreak havoc ( your windows get hickups ok dont blame me after ) even if you are "protected with windows antivirus.

I heard Norton did not share a very good reputation compared to their contemporaries. Has this product improved?

when l download a crack l upload it to total virus, if the majority class it as a virus l delete it before it even gets to my windows machine

Banner Ad offers Restoro which is advertised as "Windows 10 Repair Tool", that's the program people download which causes issues.

  13. Nick Galea

Malwarebytes will flag any page/site it likes, very annoying.

  14. Daniel J

  15. Catherine Morgan

  16. Lewis Hood

  17. SeeItHappen

The most dangerous virus are the people who behave and live like sheep and give away their power to Big Tech and the Government.

  18. John Senchak

Most malware can't get past Windows 10/11 with all the defenses built in now and days, along with years of security update.s Windows (defender) see's the program "Hacker Process " as being malicious LOL I use 7 Zip to compress and zip backup folders

  19. John Senchak

The people who complain are teenage boys , who are immature , You know them when they write crap like "first"

  20. Tuco Ramires

  21. laurence king

Researching "safest web browsers" I've come to the conclusion it's not what browser you use, it's what you do with it. Common sense is still, and always has been the "safest web browser".
