Anyone have insight into the pros/cons of clans as opposed to subnets? It seems like they accomplish the same goal of subdividing the network. The only thing I can pinpoint is that subnets seems to be largely based in hardware (i.e. each switch belonging to a different subnet) while vlans are a mixture of hardware and software (the physical ports on a switch can create smaller logical switches so to speak). I guess vlans require less hardware to create?

  2. That's a really good explanation.

Good day to everyone may I ask here, if the the remote client can print a document from the local server or main office using a VPN PPTP?

  6. what's a information mess 🙁 SFTP is SSH file transfer subsystem. it can be implemented separately, complete without SSH. FTPS is 'classic' FTP over SSL crypting. TFTP is as simple as it is possible, for reduce network stack to minimum, for devices that boots from IP network. But. Let you explain difference between active and passive mode, then explicit and implicit mode. hint, those modes can be randomly mixed and you will see 4 combinations.

for watchers. better forget what you see on this video. go to much better lessons. this video is incredible mess 🙁
