In this video, I will be building a $800 Gaming PC Build with RX 590, which is plenty for PC gaming. A Ryzen 5 2600, this CPU has 6 cores and 12 threads, which is ample for a gaming computer. I also went with the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max, which is probably one of the best B450 motherboards on the market. I went with a NVME 1TB which is not as cheap as a SATA SSD, but the speeds are night and day in difference, yes you can buy cheaper, then then you lose performance. The power supply was 750w Gold non modular, yes it was probably a little over powered for this build, but it will last for years. The case was Aerocool Cylon Pro, which is a really good and well designed case for the money. Video has the full build process and some benchmarks and game play…enjoy.

Before the trolls start, the CPU cooler was rotated round the other way when finished filming.

Also, these are the parts I choose for this build, when you build your PC, you can adjust parts to your liking and budget.

The icing on the Cake would have been installing Manjaro, Steam and Lutris… but I'll let it slide….. ( I'll also shut up Bri 😉 )… Fun build, nice to see you went with AMD, the choice of Linux users.

Why is the memory stick so high??? It is entirely unnecessary and ridicules! The same goes for the AMD fan why do we have to have a stupid notch sticking out in the way, I am sick of all these F*ck Head's that feel that they have to show an RGB glowing computer!

  7. Maffün

Building a PC is always a blast, IMO. I'd probably do one per month if I had the money…which I don't…sadly.

Brian — First want to say thank you for your video about Gaming PC Build on a $800 Budget. But you need the list of each component to build this gaming desktop. That will help others to look up online to find each component to purchase.

  12. Thank you for making this video it’s really helpful. Will this be good for 4K video editing? I use Vegas Pro 16. Thanks

  13. Mitch Haman

Great Video Brian. I'm still looking to build something between a 3700x and 3900x. Probable won't do it till the end of the year or so. I may not rule out intel either.

  14. David White

Good build Brian, I did not see u put any thermal paste on, did u cut that bit out.

  15. Phil Dawson

Just got a i9 i9900ks it's a beast overclocked to 5.1ghz on all cores. Sold my i9900k for 400 and put the rest to. Nice little build big bri

  16. Eagle Ales

Very interested and would like to get all of them.
Also i am going to build a new PC. Very much like this, i am so happy for your time and help.thanks Brian.

  17. WelshTony1

This is a bargain of a system tbf. At 60+ FPS on every game, over 100 on most you tested. When I built my system to get figures like that you would need to spend at least $400 more.
    Great build.
