if it had a headphone jack and a micro sd card. That would be in my list. However, nope

They need to have a real ultra wide too

  2. Rivoningo

I'm getting the Pixel 6 pro in a weeks time. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

  3. SteadyWolf2000

I've had the Pixel 6 Pro since launch and it's been great, haven't had any issue with it. Probably gonna have it for awhile like my last phone lol (upgraded from a Samsung S8).

I like the pixel 6. The battery life is awesome. Also itโ€™s very fast and pictures are awesome. Also ddr5 ram unlike the ddr4 in the iphone 13s

  5. Gilly

The second I saw that giant camera strip it was a giant nope from me.

The scanner it was a little bit of a learning curve for me, but after a day or so I've got it to work mostly flawlessly. My recommendation is when you do the fingerprint, hold the phone in your hand exactly how you would when you're using it.

Jon- Thanks for the thorough update and review. Being that you use both iOS and Android, have you taken photos on that Pixel 6 and sent them to the mass amount of iOS users that we have our here in South OC? I really want to get back to android, but if I canโ€™t send these โ€œamazingโ€ pixel photos or videos to my family who is on iOS, whatโ€™s the point? And no, Iโ€™m not asking anyone to switch messaging apps just to appease me and tech nerd lifestyle. Any suggestions?

This phone battery is one of the worst in the android Eco system I mean Chinese phone's run loop's around it they only lack the pixel software even tho they have better cameras at half the price of the pixel, like gt neo 3 that's a battery king with an awesome camera for the price

  9. Ray Jones

I just can buy a phone with shithouse battery no matter how good the camera is this phone is big but it's battery life is less then the iphone 13 normal size even the iPhone 13 mini probably beats it and that phone is designed for dwarf's

Not a bad review at all. We can't forget how Google dropped the ball with the fingerprint issues at the beginning, as well as stalling updates. Pixel 6 has gotten a lot better with Android 13 beta but it shouldn't have taken that to get a better phone. Still one of the best phone's I've owned but it could've been so much better

Love my 6 Pro. Started with the regular 6, didn't like the design. Went back to the 5A, then the S22 (reinforced that I just don't stick with Samsung phones, I think ultimately I don't like the UI). Picked up the 6 Pro thinking I would end up returning it, and it really became my favorite of them all. No issues with the fingerprint sensor. I like the curved edge to the screen. Looking forward to seeing what the 7 will bring.

Does anyone else p6 restart randomly

Got the first Nexus when it came out and returned it after 1 hour, it was that bad. I made a promise to never buy a Google phone again. I am glad I never did. Google is an advertisement and data collection company , period.

I never ended up getting a Pixel. I was an LG guy (G2, G4, G7 mixed in with an HTC and a Samsung) before switching a couple years ago to iOS. It always seemed like a good phone, I just have had an increasingly hard time trusting Google as they killed a variety of things I had grown to rely on over the years. I felt like I was a constant beta tester for them. I still like hearing about what they are doing though. You always have great videos, Jon.

I would love to see a return to a fingerprint scanner on the back. The one thing I really miss from my Note 9.

You still review phones?? I absolutely love my 6 Pro. I find it running even smoother on the Android 13 beta.

  17. eric grace

Meanwhile my pro still has bugs like screen not turning off

  18. Yannick Wolfe

Personnaly, I purchased one a few weeks ago and returned it after 10 days. Kept getting uncomfortably hot ( even after light web browsing), the screen was always jittery under the smart refresh thing. Kept looking for signal, reception was sub par and so was battery life.
Went back to my S10+ in the meantime.

  19. dredzilla

I was lucky enough to get a pixel 6 as an insurance device when I broke my pixel 5 and it's been amazing since day 1

  20. BrothaMan Tech

I don't use my google pixel 6 often cause I mainly use my 13 pro max and s22 ultra but I do like it every now and then whenever I pick up my pixel 6. I really wanted the pro but didn't wanna pay the extra at the time and there was so many issues with the pro at the beginning but I still don't regret buying the regular pixel 6.
