Everyone has a lot of potential, but shyness can act as a barrier. Realize your full potential by learning how to knock down the shyness barrier.

When I was younger, I was also shy. I’ve had to learn how to get over my shyness. I work as a program manager at Microsoft and I can’t be shy in my job. I work with partners and I have to sell ideas. My paycheck relies on not being shy. The techniques that I share in this video helped me overcome my shyness.

Some people in life are just naturals, others are more shy and introverted. It’s just a different personality. Even if you’re an introvert, the good news is that you can learn how to overcome your shyness and be more confident and outgoing.

2. Speak in a louder voice.
3. Get through the first 10 to 20 seconds by having a canned opener.
