Infinix Note 30 5G | Unboxing & Full Tour

Unboxing the Infinix Note 30 5G with a hands-on review of the camera tech, gaming performance, battery life and more. Is the Infinix Note 30 5G a big upgrade vs the 12 series, and one of the best budget phones of 2023 so far?

Well, sadly the specs haven’t upgraded much at all compared with the previous model. You do now have a 108MP camera, same as the Note 12 VIP edition, which produces good looking photos as long as the lighting isn’t tricky. However, while the Infinix Note 30 5G doesn’t upgrade the performance, rival budget smartphones like the Redmi Note 12 Pro serve up stronger gaming chops. And yes, you have 45W battery charging now, but Xiaomi’s phone offers even faster wired power.

Still, for this price point, the Infinix Note 30 5G is still a decent option. It’s not the evolution you might expect but besides the dim display and clunky XOS launcher, there’s not much to wind you up here. If your budget is tight you can certainly do worse, although Poco and Redmi handsets are generally better specced.
