Is Now a Bad Time to Build a Gaming PC? 👀 [More Price Drops Are on the Way!]

With PC hardware prices higher than ever, and new GPU releases costing more and more, is now a terrible time to build a gaming PC? In this video I’ll be discussing just that, and pointing to the major PC component price drops that could be just around the corner!

  1. Think things now are just right, there are good price to performance GPUs (like my 6700xt) and think in the review of the last years now is the perfect time to build a pc

I've actually been on the lookout for a new setup since the RTX 30 series launched but never really got around to get my hands on that shiny 3070 I always wanted. But with possible price drops coming, the next few months might have a little surprise for me 🙂
Keep up the great content bro <3

This is not the video I wanted to see after just buying all my parts for a new pc 😂

NVidia needs to fix their prices & release refresh VRAM versions of their existing RTX 4000 cards:
    4090 $999 -24GB VRAM
    4080Ti $899 -24GB VRAM version
    4080 $799 -16GB VRAM
    4070Ti $699 -16GB VRAM version
    4070 $599 -16GB VRAM version
    4060Ti $499 -12GB VRAM version
    4060 $399 -12GB VRAM version
    4050Ti $299 -12GB VRAM version
    4050 $199 – 8GB VRAM version

If they still want a huge profit margin flagship GPU, for people willing to pay for the very best, they could release a new RTX4090Ti / titan with 48GB VRAM, display port 2.1 & PCIe5 for something between $1,500 and $2,000.

This pricing would be consistent with the previous pricing, even taking into account the cost of living inflation.

They should not charge over $200 for ANY GPU with 8GB VRAM, nor charge over $500 for any GPU restricted to 12GB in Q2 2023!

Until Nvidea release something like the 3070 for under 300 I’m passing and switching to amd

  7. Finally a realistic semi-Positive outlook for the computing community . Please keep making videos like this!

RX6600 is almost under $200. Spanks the RTX 3050.

Awesome! After the launch of the 4070, do you see the 4070ti price drop? If so what is your best guestimate on the timeframe?

The industry got high on the mining boom and is finding it hard to get off that addiction.

Console gaming is cheaper and with less headaches.

I mean… Yeah? I thought the market was GOOD though

Because from a PC pov if you stream or just game even edit you only really have 2 options that are actually good performance wise either team red or green because intel arc is pretty bad atm and because of That you really have no choice but to get a gpu from those 2 companies and they know that that's why its so expensive, the 5090 could drop lets say in December for 2200 USD and people would still get it and it'll be sold out within 8 hours

It’s not a bad time to build.. it’s actually one of the best times that we’ve had. This dude just looks at nvidia cards and they charge out the ass. AMD cards are performing great at price to performance budget.

I think the market is deciding that prices are way too high.

    DDR5, dropping like stone.
GPU's, AIB's being forced to offer lower prices, or give "free" gifts to consumers. To sell their stuff.
CPU's from AMD and Intel suffering lowest sales in years. Forcing AMD to sell CPU's at lower than their original pricing and Intel's 12 and 13 series to not sell in the volume they want.

RTX 4070 is a joke, it is a 4060 or Ti, (if that) in reality. NVIDIA have simply pushed the pricing stack too high for a market in freefall. AMD as well.

A good indicator of GPU sales for me right now, is that Intel selling their top of line GPU A770's, for four times less than NVIDIA! And a certain set of retailers are giving away the 750 variant with RTX 4090's (or were).

Yes it is. With the money I've got I could build a great system with 5800x3d and 6950xt. But the next time I want to upgrade, I'll have to build a whole new system. The current gen is too expensive and I'd rather not spend all that money just to have my cpu and motherboard explode 😂
