Ik this is the wrong comment for this video, but anyone know how good the Dell S2522HG 1080p 240hz monitor? Because it is on sale at amazon now for $210.

Best gray-to-Gray graph… How you can compare 0% error monitors (clean motion without any inverse ghosting = ideal) and monitors like this sh*t? This makes this slow display faster than MAG 274QRF-QD for example 😕 This is absolutely misleading! You can observe the dark trails in light shades (70% error or higher at lower refresh rates) vs. zero errors at MSI display. How about compare all displays at same error conditions – idealy 0-5%? But if I skip these bar graphs, your display reviews are best. 👍

370 dollars on their own website. cant say thats a budget monitor price. for that money i can get a 4K monitor as well.

  4. megapro125

thumbnail says $370. After clicking referral amazon link: 462€ (= $508) getting fucked again on consumer electronics prices in the EU…

Can you guys pls test out the Acer Nitro XF243Y? In your Monitor Ranking video the AOC 24G2 was said to be the go-to monitor for 1080p gaming cuz of it’s moderately good picture quality, features and affordability. The Acer claims to offer all the same but with 165Hz instead of 144hz and also has support for HDR. I know, it’s a terrible HDR but at least the display has support for it. Unlike on the 24G2 where running any HDR content is guaranteed to look worse than SDR.
I would really like to see you guys test it out too. Love the detailed testings you guys conduct.

Tim are there any good 75Hz 4K like 32" ish gaming/movie panels out their, that don't cost an arm and a leg?? I'm willing to sacrifice Gsync as Long as there is Freesync?? Some people have been telling me to look for a 120Hz Tv with Freesync n HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 if I can find it. ?? Any help would be appreciated..

  7. Pixio

    Big thanks for the review.
We also appreciate all the feedback coming from your viewers. Keep it up!

Can someone tell me if the benq mobiuz 2710q is any good? I wanted to buy a good panel for gaminga nd maybe some amateur photo editing

  9. Fred Redd

$370 is NOT a "value" or "budget" monitor, not even for 1440p 144+hz

  10. Kaiser

I have a Dell S2721DGF and it's amazing. Got it for $299 on sale at BestBuy.

  11. Blood Bath

Anything about the Lenovo G27Q? It's $230-250, same specs on the box.

  12. Nisco Racing

So much false advertising from Pixio, and 120Hz – 144Hz panels are being overclocked to sell as native 165Hz.
And we see this all in the last luster monitor review, this monitor industry really needs a wake-up call.

  13. theeds

More monitor reviews pls. Also, do you have any plans to review Gigabyte G24f? Would like to also see it reviewed in your channel

  14. Tim Longson

You don't need to go beyond "1440p Monitor Any Good?" The answer is NO! It's 2022; if you aren't able to run at ATLEAST 4K at a decent refresh rate, then its crap. Full stop. 8K gaming possible with new tech coming out later this year.

    Hi, I'm looking for a nice 32" monitor preferably for <=400 €
Both the LG 32-GP850 and Gigabyte M32Q are currently €410, which would you choose?
    Or a different one entirely?
    Thanks

  16. Crestofhonor 23

Will you guys do a review on the upcoming apple studio monitor? Will you also test it with windows devices with thunderbolt too?

  17. Derp

Y'all got any of those Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED monitor reviews?

  18. Zack

I managed to buy the px277 prime on its way out on sale for $269. Great deal

Hi Tim, i´m a huge fan of Hardware Unboxed, you and steve make a great job…amazine reviews!!! I'm a bit confused about my next monitor 32in to gaming on xbox series x and a "old pc"(AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with a GeForce GTX1070) and for 400 euros.what is our opinion about Gigabyte M32q(405€) or LG 32GP850-B(429€)I know you give better ranking for a the M32Q but the price diference was 100/150€ diferente…with 15 € diferente do you still ranking better M32Q for my use case???…thanks for all the good reviews

  20. Last Hope

$370 isn't budget my cars worth only slightly more and I certainly own a "budget" car.

  21. Bagatellrundfunk

In Germany it is much to expensive (462 €) one day after Video launch

  22. Ray Getard

wtf is this you dunce, where is the alienware qd-oled review?

  23. Stwart Morales

Hi! For someone who plays only on a Nintendo Switch, and watches movies, which would you recommend?

    ASUS VP249QGR (265$)

    Gigabyte G2F (295$)

    LG24GN600-B (270$)

    MSI G241 (255$)

    MSI G242 (255$)

@title: it's 27", so: no. Try 43" for a start. I had a 30" 15 years ago. There are more than enough 27" monitors on the market already. Meanwhile there isn't a single monitor worth buying that's larger than 27". I'm being 100% serious. (please ignore the idiots who will reply by shilling the godawful samsungs) VA can't do VRR without flicker (and in the case of samsungs: stutter). So for g-sync we need IPS. But IPS has bad blacks. Good local dimming can solve that. So we need IPS with FALD with a thousand zones or more, or IPS with miniLED. Preferably 43" 4k, or 38" with an aspect ratio between 16:9 (cramped in-game fov) and 21:9 because 21:9 at large sizes is overkill, wasting GPU power on pixels you don't see and makes even a 38" panel still not quite tall enough when you naturally sit back because of the width. The FV43U is the best 43" monitor on the market today and it sucks on every level except size. The 38" 21:9 offerings are all IPS with terrible local dimming, only 16 zones, with even worse contrast than regular IPS as they're LG Nano IPS panels that therefore need good local dimming even more badly. They cost €1200 to €1700, for which you get completely useless HDR, with no usable sRGB mode therefore you get overcooked colors – the downside of HDR monitors without the upside (which would be: actually good HDR) and you don't even get a polarizing filter to get rid of the IPS glow. Meanwhile the endless stream of new 27" monitors just keeeeeps onnnnn comin'.

  25. Rise of Zen

Like others have mentioned, looking forward to your review of the Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED monitor, your response time charts are just awesome

  26. Johnathon Singh

Have the px277 prime and it's awesome as I mostly play single player games

  27. LHC

I'd probably buy this if it was available here (UK). Despite it being a bit overpriced, the combination of USB PD and a KVM would be a great benefit for my usage (frequently swapping laptops and swapping between laptops and desktop). The only other monitor of this size that I've seen with that is the AOC AG274QXM, which is nearly £900 and seems to have a number of serious issues with the display. Hopefully USB PD output (60W+) starts to become a common feature (as KVM switching already has) because ideally I'd be making a decision solely on the display/price and not a niche feature.

  28. Lhk 115

Please do a G3223Q review, it seems better, faster and cheaper than MSI and ROG, and even M32U

  29. Hunter French

Love the content. On the opposite end of the price scale, I would love to see your opinion of the new Alienware AW3423DW. It's their new QD OLED monitor, and I'd love to hear your opinion of it, since it's the first gaming focused OLED monitor (excluding the LG C1 48" because thats a TV) and the first QD OLED period.

  30. are you guys going to review the new qd-oled samsung/alienware monitor? AW3423DW
