One thing jio succeeded is 4g because they invest huge money to buy pan india and give stiff compete and become number one in telecom. This will not workout in jio phone, jio broadband, jio laptop. Because there is wide competition outside. Most of the chinese manufacturers thin margin huge volume production tactics capture lumpsum of market share. Jio just rebrand some white label manufacture to dump here with cheap marketing tactics. They miss some important point. Most of indians just to buy apple even they dont have that much money, to show of as status symbol. Youtube and social media gives best tech updates. This will become backfire for jio. Remove cheap product and give true bang for buck value for money products. Otherwise they loss charm.
Looking at the specs, MRP should have been 5-6k something.
problem with Indian companies and CEO is, they really don't want to invest anything in R&D and produce something good for customers. All Reliance products are shit, half baked products laumched in beta mode for people to suffer.

The problem with this review is, no offence the content creators really don't understand the hassle of building something from the scratch even on framework 2 gen old and making the product viable to the market moreover it is a humongous feat what they have achieved and yes I really do understand all the negative points what they have mentioned but it will take at least 3 or 4 generations to fix and finesse it.
Jio has proved to be failure in terms of smartphone and laptop.
This is how you destroy a brand name. They should fire all the product guys and who Oked this product to be launched in first place.

It's time they should stop making any hardware or app at all. Anything they have built after the launch of JIO Mobile Network (2016) is just garbage. They have learned to COPY what others have already made but make a trash version of those products. The only legit product was the JIO revolution with Free Calling, Internet, etc.

One can get a phenomenal i3 spec laptop with an ssd for just under 30k. It might be double this, but thats genuinely a great device for any non professional workload.

it feels like jio book was supposed to release in 2020 but due to covid they delayed the launch
I had a 10 inch tab with 1 gb ram and very bad processor still at least it was stable (but after rooting).
Lol getting a laptop and then installing primeos (android os) is way better idea if you want android on laptop…it's not good but far better experience 😂
Better buy an old PC Setup under 15k-20k or an Old used i3 Laptop, it would be a better choice than this crap, piece of Shit. you can do Browsing, watch youtube at 1080p, Making documents and watching movies, even can play old game titles.
