The reason why iPads are better than macs and why it’s my main laptop is the touch screen and the fluidity. I have a Mac, and Mac OS is kinda clunky and old school. To me iPads are way more fun and I enjoy the simplicity of iPad OS. I also personally really like stage manager even if other people don’t. Also the 120hz screen, Apple Pencil support for apps like procreate, the speakers and mics are amazing, just fits me a lot more personally
It’s a bad time now to buy new Apple stuff. I think Apple is overpriced at the moment. No much innovation, compared to older models.

I decided to upgrade from my M1 iPad Air to the M2 Ipad Pro just for the performance bump and mini LED display (and HDR capabilities). However, if I had the M1 iPad Pro to begin with instead of the iPad Air, I would not have.

Ok so for the reasons you mention are the decision point to buy the iPad pro. MacBook Pro and iPad Pro are apples and oranges. I had MacBook pro as an artist it was unusable almost as no touch screen no pencil. Depends on how you will use it!
I bought a refurbished 2018 Pro straight from Apple and I can honestly say it’s the only way to go. Don’t buy anything else

The iPad (Pro) 2022 is extremely disappointing, I agree with your review to avoid this model, or anything Apple this year, for that matter. I cannot understand why the Apple Pencil hover is even a thing, it is copied from Samsung. Phones like the Samsung Note series with their stylus, have had apps hover for ages, it is nothing new. 😉
For me, the smallest iPad upgrade ever is iPad mini 2 to iPad mini 3, or iPad 7 to iPad 8. Combat me

Another biased, negative video 💩 ‘ing on Apple by Daniel -how shocking! Anyways, in his urgency to crank out another sarcastic negative video, he failed to mention (or perhaps didn’t notice because of his bias) that the 12.9 has an improved display that essentially corrects the blooming issue some users experienced when viewing high contrast HDR content. Also, Daniel failed to mention that the M3 SOC has improved rendering engine for Pro Res codec which will shine with DaVinci Resolve. If you have the 5th Gen IPP (12.9) you might want to stick with that unless you do plan doing a lot of video editing. That being said, Daniel should make an effort to be more transparent about his anti Apple bias (his butt hurt about not being selected as a review partner previously) and how he has mentioned in other videos how he dislikes tablets in general and rarely uses the one he has -so of course he has no need to upgrade. You might not either, but there are plenty of other tech reviewers who are more balanced and fair than Daniel and all his bias.

I was going to buy the new M2 12.9 when it came out but not at $250AUD more than the M1. That’s disgusting. So I got the M1 and got $100 off the RRP. So saved $350 and it’s awesome. Apple are going to price themselves out of the Market I believe. I’m really pissed off
