I bought the M2 Air when it came out and have really enjoyed it so far. My use case so far was entertainment, taking notes, creating some light iMovies and some light coding. It is also my first Mac and I was debating between the M1 Pro and the M2 Air at the time. I decided to go with the air because of the design and weight. (The design is what sold me on the M2 instead of the M1 Air)

#M2 I was really on the fence between the M1 and M2 Air a few weeks ago when I decided that get my first MacBook in like a decade. What pushed me over the edge to the M2 was the hardware design with the improved screen, keyboard and magsafe. I was able to get one refurbished from apple and have been super happy with it. Coming from cheap dell cooperate machines the M2 feels like an absolute tank.

#M2 – Love the video! I bought the M2 MacBook Air when it came out coming from a gaming windows laptop. Being a CS student itโs great to have great battery life and an OS that doesnโt break as often as Linux. Comparing it to my friendโs mb air m1 I can say the only difference is design and keyboard. The rest is pretty similar and both are great computers. Iโd try to go for the M1 if you find it cheap, although in Europe the market has less sales. Not running hot in my experience, unless you charge it and use a lot of staff at the same time.
How the ports hold up over time for midnight color? Are they get scratched? Would you recommend M2 Macbook Air or M2 Macbook Pro 13 inch for photo editing and Apple arcade gaming?

I bought the m1 air for 700 euros 2 months ago, it's great and I am getting used to macOS bit by bit
I think apple should have kept the m1 air and update it everytime the new processor get is getting renewed (cheaper manufacturing, kinda like a MacBook se)
On the other hand, I wish the mba M2 would be a pro 13, a bit thicker yes, but a quiet cooling system. Heck I wish apple would just give the 13 pro the mX pro silicon. I love my current air, but any more expensive and the only one worth looking to is the 14 inch mbp for a true perf gap (and display )
Have been using my Macbook Air M2 since it came out… I have a 16,512 config and I would say its been crazy good experience coming from a Windows pc user… Love the intro btw… Keep doing this man
