Will the tweaks still be functional after uninstalling the tool and restarting the device?

  8. Rodger

Copy as path is great for spreadsheets so you can point to files on different drives on the network.

That is a nice tweak Brian howevr I rarely have to use the right-click method and the one that drives me mad is the option "Send to" and it only gives you a few places to send stuff to – for example I don't think I have ever seen it say send to "Documents" or some other folder.

I have tweaked, by hand, my context menu in each new version of Windows, and have been looking for a good context menu utility. Thanks for the info here, Brian!

When I right-click a folder, I get tons of menu options I don't want. They don't show up in Context Menu Tuner so I can delete them. Why?

When I mentioned this in the server, many people looked down upon it, and told me to make sure to back up the PC because it edits the registry. Glad you enjoy it though, it is a great tool.

Like always a very usefull tool, thanks, but I do have a question…. is there anyway to delete some of the functions in the right click menu, as I do have quite a few that I do not need and it is so cluttered right now. Thanks again.

  19. Jose Loreto

And on another note when I click on reply your reply does not show, is this an after effect of this tool?

Just found out that the language folder can not be opened or deleted, when I click on it my desktop recycles….hope it´s not a bug or something

  21. LaMar

Thank you, this just didn't know who or how to ask.

  22. I would like to know how to get the "open with" to show when I highlight a bunch of files in Windows 10. It used to work with win 7 but now the option is only available if you select a single file.

I'm sorry. This video just shows how bad the basic Windows GUI itself actually is.

    E. g. "copy path" shouldn't even be a function by itself. The copy function itself should just copy everything -> the actual folder, and the path to the folder. Then, depending on context, it should paste the correct content: e. g. in the terminal the path to it; in the file explorer the file/folder itself, etc. etc. (That's how the clipboard actually works: it can hold multiple data types. For instance formatted text AND also the plain text version of it; Excel cells data structures AND a plain text representation of that data structure; and so on and so on.)

Nice! And as an extension, being able to add programs to the context menu would be great as well. Especially, if they act upon the object that you right clicked on directly. Like virus scanning a file or folder. Searching for something within a document. So useful.

Well, this one is mostly for us who can figure out to use a command prompt.
It is a nice feature, indeed.
Another nice feature I have installed on that menu is an icon position restore tool, nice to have when some screen resolution changing program causes the icons to be jumbled up.
And a file attributes modifying program.
