If you find the core that's overloaded and disable the affinity for that core in windows it should split the workload among the other cores
The only settings that affect performance properly are the Global Illumination and Shadows and the resolution scale, the rest don't do much. Global Illumination on 3 is targeting 30 FPS according to Epic, on 1 and 0 it's turned off, hence the 60 fps. Lumen is effectively a scaled down software Raytracing system that offers both indirect lighting and reflections into one. The tech is beautiful but it will require further optimization and a increase in the average gpu to properly use it. All upcoming UE5 games will have an option to turn off Lumen(Global Illumination) for the low settings, effectively using the old lighting systems.
How did you change the graphics settings in the compiled version?
This is not a mid range GPU. It's low-end
Try getting to the highest speed in flying mode and hit cars frontally. They fly around and burst into little blue pieces.
Would it shock you much if my undervolted Vega56 is tied with the RX 6600 ?
Anyone know if the Unreal 5 engine will support or if it already does support Microsoft's Directstorage api ? Wondering if it might help alleviate the cpu bottlenecks in some areas. 🤯🤯
9:25 WoW!!!!! Look at THAT RAM UTILISATION!!!! 32 Gigs???? wtf???
Wow.. I’ve noticed something. Ps5 and Series X run This at 4K-1440p with DRS at a Somewhat locked 30fps.. very impressive
Can you try this on 2060 super
So you're telling me that my newly-bought 5800X can only do low for this kind of game?
Oh crap
32GBs of RAM is mid range? Then what is 4GBs?!? I need an upgrade so bad I didn't even know it.
wow already exceeded 32gb of ram usage
Ryzen 9 5000x is a midrange now??
since when?
i tought the R7 where midrange…
wow rx6600 no longer able to handle 1080p anymore
That is not CPU limit.
bet this would look really good on one of those crazy good CRT monitors from the late 2000s
The visuals and lighting are ridiculously amazing. This step into realism will only improve further as drivers improve and juicier GPU's release.
32 gb of ramm usage ?? I downloaded this on a series X and it feels constant 60 but when flying high would stutter a bit . Think it goes around 40 fps but that thing has only 16gb of shared memory . What i missing here ? Why is 16 enough but for pc is using so much ramm? Thx
oh shit 32gb ram usage…also look at the frametime…unplayable
how can you have the MSI afterburner on while open UE5 project? Mine keep crashing until i quit afterburner first
