There is no point of talking about GPU'S when the average person can't find one that is not marked up so high. Everyone knows GPU'S are not worth the price to begin with. If you pay more than $700 for a GPU your a fool. End of Story.

  2. where can i buy one of those ryzen cpus you have mentioned? the prices indicated in the video were far too real in here. there is no 5000 series ryzen cpu under 200 dollars here. even 4000 series aren't.

Do you believe nvidia gonna go bankrupt because of its greed and keeping prices high?
    Send your replies "beLLLOOOOOOWWWW"

I think intel's sitting on something with alchemist. They're under promising, which is a good sign. Already matching on the lowest low end for price-performance, without getting people hyped for stupid fast desktop hardware is a sly marketing move. They're not hl3-ing this.

Make sure if you want your rig to be scalable it's compatible with DDR5

Have been keeping an eye on prices and stock in Aus and it seems to be going in the eight direction.
Strix OC 3090s have dropped from $4000 to $3000 at some stores and Strix OC 3080 TIs dropping from $3199 to $2469.
Still pricey, but there’s a “positive” trend downwards at least.

these price drops are still far from the "sane" prices years ago; considering that these GPUs will be soon be replaced by the incoming new generation/release, these GPUs should be at discounted prices

  8. Mfkers think everyone is or should be mining crapcoins for a living and doubled prices on gpus. Crapcoins are poison, uses a huge amount of energy creates tremendous amount of e-waste and basically produces nothing of value.

  9. Klaas Soenen

Would you wait another month then to buy a new cpu or will prices not drop significantly?

  10. Teo Ciprić

If you are from Croatia you know local shops will keep high prices years after GPU's come back to their respective MSRP.

  11. Now these are still far from MSRP, but even if they were at MSRP, let's not forget the both nVidia and AMD are getting their next gen GPUs ready in a few months and now nVidia wants to sell all old stock in preparation for a new cycle of greed. I'd totally avoid at this point.

This way of not showing face and still getting so much views and quality content is awesome.

At my local micro center they have asus 3080ti for $1350. In stock

Basically Intel is about to enter the market with 3 GPU makers instead of only 2. So there will be more competition and of course more supply coming in the future. So things should improve a lot then for both stock and prices.
On top of that AMD has finally starting ditching their crappy Vega igpu's and finally switched to RDNA 2 igpu's for their 6000 U and HS CPU chips. This is actually a really big deal because these chips are a huge leap over Vega.
RDNA 2 is the same architecture that the PS5, Xbox series x, and Steam Deck all use. The PS5 and Xbox obviously have way more CUs though so those will still have much better performance. My point is that these RDNA2 igpu's that are finally coming out are very capable for a lot of 1080p gaming without needing a dedicated GPU at all.
This is a pretty huge deal that I don't think many have even thought about. A very capable igpu that will let most people game without even needing a separate dedicated GPU. So this will be another alternative when it comes to this whole GPU pricing and supply mess. Not only is Intel about to enter the market soon with more GPUs but AMD is also about to help out a lot with these new GPUs. AMD really milked Vega for far too long. Vega was always quite underwhelming and a disappointment. RDNA2 on the other hand is quite impressive.

So yeah. Things are going to improve quite a lot when it comes to both supply and demand, more options (with Intel and these AMD RDNA2 igpu's) and this of course means better prices. The second half of 2022 and especially 2023 should be a huge improvement. Because of this I think it might also improve the supply and demand nightmare when it comes to the PS5 and Xbox. The reason that I think that some of this will carry over to these consoles is because if more people are finally able to get a GPU or igpu that some of the demand for these consoles will improve a bit.
The only caveat to this though is that right now China is getting really bad with the pandemic and they keep locking down entire cities. This includes Shenzhen which is all about electronics. These CPU and GPUs are manufactured in Taiwan, not China, but a lot of final assembly is done in Shenzhen. So that's another problem that could make things worse.

  15. mentionpk

Remember when everyone made fun of amd running hot and still do to this day. I member. (4770k to 3700x.)

  16. Dyloz Witty

As an Australian it has been shocking to see 3080 prices going from an average of $2500aud sown to $1300aud in the span of a few months, It makes me so glad that I didn't just bite the bullet while they were still at peak price

  17. Dan the great

Yeah everyone of these videos saying gpu prices are falling gpus are getting cheaper are either ignoring or failing to mention the scalpers are they gone or did they stop scalping which is it

  18. Ivan R

great gpu prices are going down, except you stil cannot buy them.

  19. SerenoOunce

This channel is nothing but click-bait. A 15% GPU discount when the mark-up is 200-300% means nothing.

  20. iamshashu

so, right now I own a Titan X (Maxwell), I'm more into 3D/GFX design & animation than gaming. I recently been aiming at a RTX 3080, but don't quite know from which brand (asus, evga or gigabyte?.. etc) also I don't know when & where (retail, used, refurbished..) to purchase one..should I wait?

  21. GaffGiff

the 4600g already exists in prebuilts and i have it in a build

  22. Mike

Bought a 3050 for 349$ usd bad choice?

  23. Shxo

my friend got a 3090 for 1,100 oN AMAZon

  24. JemyM

The video was pointless. I could listen to the voice, but why is the video +50% pointless videoclips mashed in that have nothing to do with the video? I know some channels do this and I usually end up asking youtube to not recommend them since the videos are so distracting I can't hear the narrator.

  25. Caninoization

RTX 3090 in my country is 93,900 B-

meanwhile average wage is 300 B- per day

people in my country cannot buy it in a year 😮‍💨

  26. YOU Forgot the First Letter of The Sponser's Name , The W Letter missing from the Start of There Chinese Manufacture's Name . . . .LMAO . . . .BBEE LLOOWW !!

  27. Encore

So just another channel were the actual video does not match the bs name of the video.
