[OPPO FIND N2 FLIP REVIEW]

You’ve got a lot of options if you’re in the market for a book-style foldable, with seven manufacturers offering phones that turn into tablets. But that rich tapestry diversity hasn’t trickled down to flip-type foldables. With only minor competition from the likes of the Motorola RAZR and Huawei P50 Pocket, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip family has come to dominate the clamshell flip phone category.

So when Oppo invited media to London to witness the launch of a product that stands a good chance of changing all that, well … I was on a plane faster than you can say “flip the script.” I’m Michael Fisher and I’ve spent a week with the Oppo Find N2 Flip: a vertical-folding clamshell with a nearly-invisible crease on the inside; a very visible screen on the outside … and some confusing software choices that  make you wonder if its competitive price is indeed competitive enough.

The cover screen is so tempting but ur review has made me realize that I should stick to my zflip 4

  2. hg md

wait, this is getting a american release?

  3. Andy Hailey

You've hit the nail on the head, all these new foldables are far better designed than Samsung and some have better hardware but unfortunately Samsung kills them all in the software department. Hopefully in the next few generations they will catch up in the software department and put real pressure on Samsung. Give me the oppo/vivo /xaiomi foldables with Samsung software and then you've got a near perfect phone

  4. Joyous

So, basically a recylced product with recycled hardware from its sister companies but priced very much at a premium.
Hitting one thing right regarding the display on the inside

Leaving everything else a lot to be desired.
A sub 600-700 euro phone marketed at nearly 900
    Hard pass.

  5. JP

I really hope the galaxy z flip 5 changes some things to make it more attractive. Oppo really came to take it

  6. matthew utley

I absolutely love my Microsoft Surface Duo 1 and I was able to get it brand new for $250 and it's running modern-day Android and every app with no problem it is simply fantastic. And I get read of my Samsung Galaxy phone 3 for a Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra and a regular s22 so those are my three primary phones but my duo is my baby

  7. A Name of a User

Really hope oppo and OnePlus make the software experience more polished, would really set the bar on Android phones

  8. Ross Rankin

These are actually the only phone reviews I actually watch these days (apart from iPhone reviews) the candybar phones time has come, time for the foldable to take charge

  9. Priyanka

Would wait for 2nd generation before buying one

  10. ToPaZB

It's perfect review Thanks you 🙏🏻☺️

  11. lake child

I feel like the ability to lock into positions like the flip4 can is the reason Samsung continues to have more noticeable creases on its flip series

  12. theClifFold

Great video as always, especially the orginal Mr Mobile music! Miss those songe!!

  13. KOLT

Loved your video and script, as always!

  14. speedyink

Michael! Have you used Cover Launcher yet?? It's great for making the Z Flips external screen waaaay more useful. It's basically mandatory for the Z Flip phones, as least for me. It gives me way more uses while keeping the phone closed (games on the cover screen?? Heck yes!)

  15. Amai

I was SOOOO interested until it said that the Huge cover screen is another widget screen. I'm a Flip 3 user. I love this form factor, but I need a usable cover display. Moto is the only one which has ut, but it pales to the samsung or the OPPO in every other measurable metric.

  16. Pete Coventry

I will never buy another phone apart from OPPO and this is my next foldable. The Fold 3 was a letdown for me. I'm glad you enjoyed our Pubs 🙂

  17. Firewarrior

Why is Samsung so bad on the visible crease and not being flush when closed? It's so weird. Even the Fold 4 it's obvious.

  18. Mr. Sheev

I really don't wanna waste twenty minutes of my life (again) to watch a video about a "new" foldable Americans can't use/buy, and I'm gonna assume Oppo is making another foldable that means nothing to me. Do you have so many global users that it's worth continuing to show America crap we can't have?

  19. OnlyOnePiece

you know that these review videos not only inform us regular consumers but also motivates the companies to push themselves 😀 reviews always matters. Loved it.

  20. Dee Six

The outer screen is the pinnacle of wasted potential.

  21. Nathan Budd

That cover display looks great, but it's on the wrong side considering I use my phone right handed 90% of the time (and that's presumably the side the fingerprint unlock is on).

  22. Denis O'brien

ive owned 2 generations of oppo phones. i have to say there software updates are aggressive. ive never had a phone that gets so ruthlessly upgraded. im a fan, my my next phone will be an oppo.

  23. Sixton Vitzon

Software update can easily solve those issues you've just highlighted

  24. Sherif Ahmed

My 2 most favorite reviewers ; captain 2 phones & Ben gadgets review.

  25. Sietze Gaastra

I still haven't found any positive reason besides compactibility to use a flip phone over a folding phone. I went for the flip 3. but sold it after one evening of use. Why even bother to flip if you have the full size straight without folding in your pocket? With the fold you got the ease of access without folding (with a seriously practical way of working) and a luxerious way of doing your thing when you open the fold….

  26. daveyadict_

I hope they push down some upgrades for that outer display

  27. King Hart

That's an impressive crease or honestly the near lack of one

  28. Visionbyjason

Mr fisher you need cover screen os you can thank me later let you run any app on cover screen

  29. "Also if I get multiple messages from the same person in say telegram" As far as I'm aware this means you're getting scammed and you shouldn't even install that app.

  30. Fake It

I need your advice from you guys,
i want to gift my mother a flip phone, and I am a little confused between this Oppo device and the Flip 4 ( or maybe waiting for the flip 5 but not likely)

She doesn't care about the camera she just loves the flip part of these kinds of phones and loves the colourful things with a good backscreen good looking phone and strongly taking her use in the kitchen, at her job and we live in a lil dusty area so a lil worry both devices doesn't have dustproof and didn't find any case that protects from dust till now

So what do think i should gift her?

And maybe ill go straight to iPhone 14 pro g

  31. Jared Stark

Anyone know how to get that star trek theme on his front cover display on the z flip?

  32. Nic s

Honestly if I was in the market for a folding phone, I’d go for this. The lack of a crease gives me more confidence in its long term durability. I’m definitely intrigued by this phone. This all said my iPhone 13 pro is holding up well and I don’t see myself upgrading anytime soon.

  33. Chinmay Kulkarni

Samsung now makes the most perfect and safe to choose phones now a days…yepp they are a bit expensive when compared to others with the same features…But Samsung feels more reliable than them…

  34. KD

Feels way better to see freedom of speech in MrMobile's vids than some other influencers…

  35. Mike James

Don't waste your time with Huawei Xiaomi Poco vivo. Stick with Motorola Samsung.

  36. Dear Michael, thank you a lot for this incredible review for a product that was intriguing me. Your work is amazing and I love to watch your videos and to discover your point of view on these devices. All best !!

  37. Gemini

I love idea with new manufacturers breaking into the US space but with regards to privacy, it's going to be a tough sell. I do believe a good play would be for Oppo (and in affect OnePlus) try to appeal to the US market by trying to do something those concerns

  38. Pablo Saucedo

Tbf at the end of the day no one in their right mind would pick an oppo over a Samsung. Something about those generic Chinese companies that seems off to me.

  39. Draconis

Appreciate your points about usage. This has me very excited about the foldables future!

  40. VETTE

until its available in NA it means nothing

  41. Kikker861

This seems like a phone engineered to copy Samsung instead of being better than Samsung. What a shame.
