I was lucky got one on release day, I didn’t use it much because no PS5 games that I wanted to play. Picked up Horizon Forbidden West the system started shutting off, It didn’t get very hot and I never got red lights. Now when I try to power on, it try’s to start for around 5 seconds and shuts back off, I’ve done all the trouble shooting steps with no luck. Did a search online and I see that it is a common problem that’s occurring, several chips like South bridge damaged. I’m not paying $300. to get it repaired, $500. system that only lasted less then 2 years! Sony really needs to take responsibility for this problem and get ahead of it, and do the repairs at no cost to their customers!

I really hope this lawsuit goes through because i'm having the same issue where the ps5 completely shuts itself down while playing ps5 game and neither Playstation Support or the Sony store is willing to repair my ps5 without me paying a ridiculous 250€.

I've had no issues at all with my ps5 so I've been lucky so far.

For some of us older kids (LOL) I would love to see them bring back some more of the retro games from back in the day. To see those redone on better system with better graphics and everything I think would be a really nice nostalgic thing. Like I said for us older kids

Arcadegeddon is fun but needs a lot of work. A single Adventure run can last more than 2 full hours long! And if you leave before completing the final stage of a run (which I think is Stage 8 but I swear I played a 5-Stage run at least once,) like because maybe you had something to do and didn't expect to be playing a single run for so long, you lose EVERYTHING you would have gotten from the run. I mean, I get it, it's technically a disconnect but sometimes games can be really short, like 30-45 minutes, but then sometimes you play with higher-level players that always crank up the Difficulty at the rest zones, which, if turned up high enough, make ALL boss fights reset after depleting their health to 0 the first time. I believe at Difficulty Lv. 7+ is when you have to fight every boss you encounter TWICE….and of course these same players will not ignore a SINGLE prompt to boss fight. One of the bosses has a shield you have to wear down before you can damage them…but when you burst the shield, you only have like maybe 30 seconds or to lay into him until he completely regenerates the shield. That one's name is the "C.E.O." and it once took a team I was in a 50 solid minutes before we finally beat him. Keep in mind that not all guns you pick up can have their ammo refilled with ammo boxes, so its entirely possible to get stuck on a long boss fight with 0 ammo except your starting pistol and no way to pick up any new weapons because during the boss fight, none of the other enemies–oh, I forgot: you also have to keep an infinite number of respawning regular enemies at bay while whittling this dude's shield/hp down slowly–drop weapons; just coins, health, and ammo. The PVP "Battle Mode" is also unnecessarily long, making you play 10 stages worth of minigames at a time, but at least there aren't boss fights.

RROD PS5? Please don't let it be 360 era… bought a 360 elite on released day and died out on the 3rd month… water bath & towels covered… the sweet 360 day's

Now im gonna end up also putting this news for when it comes to the people at Microsoft, they also said that though they bought out Activision, they'll still keep cod on Playstation due to the deal Sony had with Activision so obviously microsoft would have to stick to that deal

My ps5 has been on for every day all day for the past 3 years now and it really hasn't given me problems

  12. Duke Nukem

What is the point of rest mode honestly

    Never really use it

Xbox did it right with always hot usb ports and quick resume

  13. I don't understand how many of you break the 💩 out of your game systems like that. I have PS2, 3, 4 and 5, and all of them work. I've had no problems with any of them.

  14. American patriot

So t is wack compared to Xbox. And I have both and I haven’t used my Ps5 in months but Xbox is always ready.

  15. Jimmie E

What kind of silly question is that when Xbox had the ring of death did they owe you money I Don't think so You just sent it in and they will send you another one You're a silly person

  16. W Ben

Had mine since launch, no issues. Stop fear mongering for clicks.

Games crash once in awhile, I just got psychonauts 2 and it crashed (first time it happened) while messing around with the ball.

I enjoy the streaming, I use it rarely on my laptop when hanging out in my garage. It works surprisingly well, way better than the vita. Best part, it doesn't kill my battery like native gaming would.

I cringe when people put their consoles in entertainment centers. anything ps3/360 and up needs to breathe man!
