I'm just glad I got my reference XTX at MSRP without vapor chamber issues, since it's still easily the best deal of this generation so far. And yes, I mean at 4K. Prices like this don't make ANY sense for just 1440p. 🤷🏿♂️

I find it very interesting how much lighter the TUF is. If I had money to get one I would definitely find that a very very attractive feature.
Otherwise, from personal experience, I would probably go for a Gigabyte model.
Found the RTX 4080 founders edition for 1169.42 USD after taxes at 12 months no interest. Had to buy it. Was originally going for the 4070 ti but that was an offer I could not refuse.

Yep, bad deal, nobody should buy this over $600 USD. This should be the 4070 which last gen was $499. More than $100 isn't worth it.

Where I am the 4070ti is now cheaper than most 3080 and 3090Ti, so not the worst buy if you need to upgrade desperately

Sad state of affairs when we’re looking at the least worst on the market rather than the best …… back to the story of an APU is better for gaming than a dedicated GPU (during the C19 lockdowns / Crypto booms💀☠🤦♂🙈🤯)! Corporate greed is all this is atm. Nothing more. You only have to look at current world events, ridiculous energy prices around the world, skyrocketing food costs to realise that these GPU prices aren5 sustainable.
It's a massive catch 22, yes the 4070ti should ideally be around 100-200 bucks lower priced but if it was we'd all be struggling to get our hands on one because they'd be getting scalped like in the past.

I have one
Upgraded from my rx 6700 xt to the Asus 4070 ti non oc version.
I use an ultra wide monitor for work so for gaming at 60fps the 6700 xt would have all my games set to medium or low. It wasn't bad but the difference between the two is night and day. All my games run at the highest preset at 70 – 100 fps.
I got it over the 7900 xtx because I couldn't find one since launch and the 7900xt didn't feel justified at $100 cheaper. I got the 4070ti at retail price, $799, at microcenter. I don't regret the purchase.

Is palit (gamerock, not gamingpro) a good deal? Some of my friend says they dont like this brand, but 4080 palit gamerock seems fantastic in my opinion. Its just an overkill for me, so im going to buy 4070ti. I just dont know which brand.

How can any new gpu be a bad deal…I don't understand it. Has anyone looked on Amazon for a 3070,3080,3090,6700xt,6800xt,6900xt, or a 6950xt? Prices are crazy on those cards which making any new gpu a "great deal" compared to those prices and performance. This is crazy.
Why even we talk about MSRP in Europe?When the EU:USD is 1:1 usually , but the USD is cheaper then the euro . On the amazon 4070 about 1000 euro ,4080 1400-1500….In the EU way more expensive buying GPUs.

I mean, the 3070ti EVGA card was $800+ at launch, and now amd for 1000 dollar offers 24 GB 4080 killing RTX 7900 XTX for 1000 dollars. I got screwed from a best buy card at msrp and then I mentally lost it and went ot ebay and spent my covid money on a 1250 dollar 3070ti. Been trying to 4k 60 fps game on it since launch of 3070ti. so for 1000 dollars, the rtx 7900 xtx is PERFECT for me, I just found one on new egg, power color hell hound 7900 xtx for 999. I got it. I just checked now, It's sold out. So I have been blessed by God and can finally game any game 4k 60 fps and should do great in new games that will WRECK the 4070ti this year. Forspoken uses 15 gb vram and for 800 the 4070ti is a joke, Might as we get 20 gb 7900 xt for 100 dollars more, and then keep going for a 4080 killing 1000 dollar 7900xt. I hate dlss and Fsr, I want native 4k. First amd gpu in 15 years or more or so. First amd cpu in maybe 20 some years. But they got me with prices, socket longevity, and value. Goodbye intel, Goodbye Nvidia, RIP EVGA , I miss you already.
I liked the cost table, I think its very relevant now since GPUs are so hungry for power and the cost of electricity is so expensive right now
