At the end of the day no one chooses what tier they want then think Nvidia or amd you want the best for your budget so this is the best thank you
I find it pretty funny how the Rx 6800 is only $40 cheaper than the 6800XT. AMD really does regret releasing that model.
Switching from Nvidia to AMD and comparing the photogrammetry in FlightSimulator i noticed the differences in color, too – in my opinion Nvidia uses a higher level of "Digital vibrance" (try the slider in the Nvidia color settings), while AMD looks more natural (at least to me). THX 💙
A RTX 3080 12 Gb ( $750) only costs $100 more than the RX 6800 XT ($650) despite being significantly more powerful & having RT+DLSS, so you can really choose whatever comparison you want to make whoever you want look bad.
make a 700$ pc for cpu and ram bound games(strong cpu and weak gpu)
AMD has had more competitive pricing for a while now across the product stack for GPU's. Nvidia is more expensive, but it might be worth it if you are very interested in ray tracing.
MIcrocenter has a bunch of 6800XTs and 6800s cheaper than even 3070s. If Nvidia was trying to compete with lesser cards they're doing a $h!t job. lol
Was going to pick up a 6800XT. But found an EVGA 3080 12GB for $630 at Amazon warehouse.
Lol, "Why are you comparing the card I overpaid for to a card at the same price that is WAY more powerful?"
why the 3070 ti is at 81°c
And the temps are way lower on the 6800 XT.
Best Buy for the founders editions, and EVGA on sale have the best prices
for nvidia cards I’ve seen lately.
1080p = AMD Always. 😎✌🏼❤️. 6650XT hangs with the 3070TI at 1080p 👊🏼
Regards from Germany, love your Channell
In general older games or games that use older engines, like what Daniel is showing in the video, seem to perform better on AMD cards. RDR2, God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn are all 4+ years old, and Forza Horizon 5 is using their own ForzaTech engine that has been around for a long time, and only received minor upgrades over the years. But check out games that use modern engines, like Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, and NVidia will blow AMD out of the water, and I expect similar results for many upcoming games as developers switch over to modern engines.
Yo, amazon has the 3070ti for $640 And even lower open box . I see the 6800xt going for at least $670 and higher . Nvidia is pricing is going down.
I love my 3070ti I got for $560 cash brand new holds me over until 4080ti
tbh amd is best to get this gen as it ticks all the boxes unless you go full fanboy that is lol
Can You include esport games in benchmarks? Valorant, apex legends, warzone, halo
Lmao i got a 3070 cause i want to do some in depth video editing at 4k or 8k and game at 1080p
Damn Daniel back at it again with another Ultimate Comparison…
Huh. The 3070 Ti actually did better than I expected considering it's a bone stock model vs a custom cooled and factory OCed 6800 XT.
Mad at the moment the RX 6800XT selling for at least AUD$1029
These where my options a year ago i picked the 6800XT
When talking about normal people buying gpus, price is the only factor that matters when comparing different gpus like this video is. Anyone who says otherwise is just stupid.
6800xt ftw
i bought a 3060 12gb msi on amazon for $425 thats with tax
Hey Mr Owen! Been watching your content since September of 2021. You’re doing great!
Question for you,
What’s a good fan curve for the 6800 xt! I went into Radeon software and saw that it’s possible to set the fan curve of the GPU.
Got any recommendations for the curve? Thanks in advance!!!
In future comparisons please include Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
Thanks for a great comparison and review.
If i may ask, could you next time add wattage, gpu temps and some kind of noise metric?
For example, i like the idea of 6800 XT, but I am not sure if it will turn my pc into an oven or will i think there is an airplane inside. Or how it will influence my bills.
Again thanks for the great content!
Didn't even realize the 6800 XT pulled less power until you pointed out, RDNA 2 + TSMC is crazy efficient (And also Samsung's nodes are also pretty bad)
Isn't it crazy how a GPU is pulling less power while delivering more performance against its competition within the same generation? is pretty normal to see cards pulling less power and being more powerful between two generations but this just shows how good TSMC is
I germany the 6800xt is more close to the 3080 in price:(
DLSS is better quality that FSR 2.0, and also 3070TI can also use FSR 2.0 lmao
Yea all I have to say is fuck Nvidia.
yeah I think this is def a fair comparison. The market is really the main driver
omg your forehead skin looks so very getting old
Can’t believe people leave negative comments on any of your videos. Only speaking logically.
You are one of the only people who actually mention streaming/video editing in your GPU videos which I really appreciate. Like you said; that is often a deciding factor but most reviewers just bring it back to raw performance. Which of course is great, we want to know that – but software performance is also important. Especially in today's times where so many people are trying out video editing and streaming.
