Big portable Oled screen that's also a full windows pc?? Awesome!
But the price: ouch… Thank you for sharing with us

ASUS is very imaginative these days. So much so that I wonder if they could give support or even have spare parts for all these models. Apart from that, if it had an external GPU like the Z13, it would be a "must have" if you can afford it.

You know, this isn't new. This is out right stealing from Lenovo. Lenovo already had folding laptop out for a about 2 years already

this thing should have a monitor input, so that it can still be used as a portable monitor when it becomes obsolete as a laptop. Having soldered ram and no decent GPU it will become obsolete pretty fast I'm afraid, while portable monitors can be useful for much more years , specially if they have so much quality and portability as this one.

I would give it a thought since my laptop is 5 years old now but the specs just dont match the price at all. It 3800€ here in germany and compared to Ultrabooks with the same specs Asus literally charges 2500€ for the folding screen and bigger battery. Either this technology is so new that you can expect prices to go down significantly if this goes more mainstream or theyre just overcharging like crazy. Either way I wont buy it now.

That's like perfect for my wife, though maybe in few year when the technology will become cheaper.

If I had to pick one laptop for studying, this would definitely be the one. Unfortunately I don't have 3k to spend x)

they probably need to work harder with design and similar staff bcs now that part is really poor

considering every single laptop i have ever owned has died due to the hinges failing i dont think i could get something like this

  10. Lendios

Jarrod can this be used as an external display aswell? Having a portable 17inch 2nd display to carry with my laptop would be awesome.

I wish the F17 got this screen quality 😕 playing games looks like minecraft

Folding devics ain't for the pleasant class…lol

  13. dracwula

nah! foldable screens with a crease is super annoying! no need to lie to your selve over the creased screen folds or pretend touch keyboard is convenient 😉

Legit got a z flip 4 ad before watching this vid

  15. flipjack

I'm most surprised by the fact that you could open it up to see/replace the internals.

    It's a nice one.
If I am rich, this is something I will buy for my parents.

    For me, personal use, no.
I am good with the traditional 15-17" gaming laptop.

Worst idea 💡 ever for laptop 💻
    1. You can’t protect this screen from scratch. Like Galaxy Z flip or Z fold. It have some kind of film cover, but it’s not glass like from MacBook.
    2. Is this durability test correct? I saw few cracked screens from Z Samsung series phones with green line up the screen.
    3. I don’t imagine where this flex feature will be useful to pay 💰 so much money for this?
Like Galaxy Fold may be more attractive only for ground distribution guys, which going on their wan to the little grocery shops in far away village and even for them this is not very ergonomic. Because you can’t put it in normal car holder.
    3. What about tasks? It’s not powerful at all.
You can’t use it like I use my MacBook Air on M2. (Yep I’m bum. For me even it was pretty expensive.)
On M2 I can do video montage, FHD webcam streaming and use all cool features with MacOS and Apple ecosystem.
Like answer a call 📞 on laptop, when my phone somewhere in the flat.

I think you will buy only for one case: Trying to impress your friends or someone else.
In other case you need to choose more practice laptop for your tasks.🙂
