AWESOME
It's getting there Brian, progress is good. Slow but good.
Nice video, as always!! Keep it up!
I'm definitely interested in permanent outdoor LED strips! Made for 🇨🇦 weather. Don't care about colours, soft white is what I need.
Hi Brian, mate do you know if I can share a nest camera …
👆 – LIKE HOT PHOTO MY SISTER 💑🥰i😜
I noticed that my Wyze sense showed up on my Home routines
I'm an "Amazon Man", but ALL your videos help me out. Thanks, Brian!
8:30 I don't see how this is an issue. Home Assistant would still remain compatible with every device which manufacturer doesn't intentionally obfuscate the protocol. Having an official certification just means that it's guaranteed to always reliably work by the company, not just hacked together by the community only to break on the next update. As a user who doesn't get to see the internals of these things, you can't even imagine to what lengths these greedy companies go to prevent third-party control of their devices.
I did see that Roku is getting into security cameras now
Thanks Brian.
Will the new Google WiFi Pro be able to replace the Samsung Smartthings hub?
Can you view history on the web on gen 1 and gen 2 cameras
Lol literally 30 minutes ago, I tried setting up a routine for a sensor to trigger a light that doesn’t expose to HomeKit, and only to GH, found it extremely restrictive. Also the camera stuff you mentioned has been in HomeKit. Can’t wait for matter but man am I glad I don’t use GH for most things.
No you can't use sensors in Google home, but you can use virtual switches. Simply create an automation in Smartthings to sync your sensor with a virtual switch and that switch will be available for automations in Google home.
I was trying to get my Aqara Cube to work all night on my Smartthings hub. Still not working. I'm in the US.
wyze also released the web app for cameras
Think you got the works with home assistant program wrong. Nothing changes on the home assistant side. They aren't cutting back on support for products they support. All it means is the manufacturer is endorsing the home assistant drivers for their product.
Home assistant users have always known their integrations with certain manufacturers could break at any time. But this is much less likely to happen with these partnerships, because those manufacturers are involved in the integrations. I like this move.
I have the Nest Hub Max and mic does work on the max but not on my Google Nest Doorbell
I love your channel. Great video. I have a question, are there any wired smart home products? I think that wired products are more secured. For example, Why there isn't wired smart bulb? The technology to have enthranet over power has been here for many years. I'm looking for any wired smart home products.
My Google cams and doorbell stopped connecting to my WiFi back in Sept. Even ordered a new cam and it would not connect using the Home App. Anyone else having issues like this. I’ve tried switching cable modems and routers with no luck.
Hey Brian, thanks for the updates. It’s nice to see Google taking a few baby steps into this arena. I can’t wait for the device options and command functions to expand.
Nice! I can't wait to use matter devices with my Google nest hub max 🤗
Google home app desperately needs widget support, specifically widget that can control media on home devices. Such an important thing should not be hidden under two screens inside the app.
Loving my routines triggered by light switches. Makes turning off a group of lights simple but all my zigbee lights are connected to echo hubs. I've thought about smartthings as a zigbee hub but I've been told that smartthings won't work with Homekit. Any way to make zigbee work in all 3 assistants?
Let's get the Nest smoke alarm integrated into the Google Home app.
when will it roll out to ios?
Need to be able to run routines on actual thermostat/nest thermostat temperature not just Mode.
