Using an iPad for Sticky Notes in my Desk Setup

I like using sticky notes, but they need a modern upgrade. In this video I’ll show you how I repurposed an old iPad, to create a digital sticky note system for my 2022 desk setup.

The keyboard is a NuPhy®Air75. He quickly says it but doesn't link. It should just be up in the video description but here it is in the comments.

I've got an old android tablet I'm probably going to repurpose for this. It's not good for much else anymore but it has an S-Pen. Thanks for the suggestion!

ive seen your keyboard in the video and it looked cool, i never have seen it before. i wanted to get a new keyboard for the last 2 years as mine is 7 years old already, but i havnt researched or even searched keyboards in a while. i did not speak about keyboards. nothing. and somehow, when i open the google up on my phone to image search, it showed me an article about keyboards for some reason. "huh, weird"

but thats not the end of it. because when i opened the article, do you know what was the last keyboard talked about? yep. the keyboard i was just about to image search. we live in a simulation folks.

It seems like you're complicating things by switching your keyboard and mouse to the iPad, when your computer is right there and alreay connected. I bet it's easier to open Keep on your PC than it is to swap your keyboard and mouse to the iPad.

Watched the first ever video on this channel and it amazed me about the production quality. I'm now 4 videos, 4 likes and a sub later.

Very random but what do you use to film your footage looks really clean!

Love the production value of your videos..

It would be cool for you to look into and explore foot pedals, I was considering getting one to achieve maybe push to talk in game, discord/teamspeak and global speak stuff for teamspeak and I'm sure there is a whole range of tasks made easier from using your feet that hasnt really been fully explored yet

The ability to connect to multiple devices with one keyboard/mouse wirelessly is known as "multihost". Quite a few wireless mechanical logitech keyboards are able to multihost. They come in a variety where they might use one USB wireless adapter + 1 bluetooth connection, have three bluetooth connections, and some, 2 bluetooth connections.

For those trying to split their wired equipment between multiple computers, it's just a KVM switch. But for tablets and phones, more often than not, you'll have a better time with a multihosting keyboard/mouse than using a docking station+KVM.

It's probably worth noting that some android phones have a "Desktop mode" that activates once they are connected to a docking station with an HDMI out. This gives you an entire computer monitor that is dedicated to your android device, already sized correctly and not just a vertical bar in the center of the screen.

Do what you like with this information and enjoy making your ideal setup!
