No foldable is perfect and it appears in 2023 to maintain the price, compromises have had to be made. As far as hardware this leaves the Fold4 in the dust, but that was last years Samsung so we await the Fold5 which should match performance and finally Samsung have ditched their own hinge design and will use the industry standard. Still, the Fold5 outer display aspect-ratio is a no-go for me so another year where Samsung will not get my money.

ATM deciding between the latest Huawei and the Pixel Fold. My desire for a larger display is not to multitask, it is to simply have a larger display with larger text for my weak eyes. So the fancy pants software is moot and flex mode is not important as I will use the outer screen for most daily stuff. This seems a solid alternative but no global version means a no buy as spending that much on something like this has high risks.

    Thanks for covering it.

You said something about reviewing Huawei mate x3 but I searched in your videos and I couldn't find it!!

Hi Chris, what's your opinion of foldaphone industry still struggling with crease. Can they perfect it? Meaning, no visible crease. Or rollable is the key and the next thing?

Just wondering on the notification shade when you pull it down can you reply back to your WhatsApp messages… As I can't seem to do it on my Vivo X fold… And also on Google maps when you press the voice icon…because cannot on my vivo x fold 1

Can you have your apps as a theme as your wallpaper?

Every negative this device has you have an explanation or justification for it. A sign that you WANT to give a positive review.
Wait until you get Pixel Fold in your hands. It'll be all negative.
I'm done with these Chinese phones. They are useless for me.

120w charging whilst Samsung are rumoured to come with (again) 25w for their upcoming Fold 5/Flip 4. Same with Google and latest efforts – its really not good enough in 2023.

  16. Kyinre

For people who want good audio quality, would they use the built-in microphone for videos, or are they generally okay with the default settings? But as for USB 2.0 with lack of video out and omission of periscope lens, that's somewhat disappointing compared to previous gen.

  17. Ray Davis

I get 0-100 in 26 min from my Vivo X Fold 2 every time

  18. Adin Nugroho

My Dad maybe was right, Chinese Brand Phone somehow has better things than Samsung. Until my Dad said "if buy Samsung, it's like we trap on Ads πŸ˜…"

  19. Richard Ratner

Yes! Thanks Chris for this video. Big love. Kindest regards, Richard U.K

Huawei Mate X3 Review is planned/incoming?

  21. Is it just me and my monitor or do the videos look absolutely bad, like compressed in this channel of youtube?

  22. Hayden Nathan

Awesome phone but the launcher is quite different from all other phones.

  23. marksapollo

Every time I see your videos you remind me of David Coulthard lol, you have a bit of similarity. Foldables are getting better, like the Google Pixel fold but it’s way overpriced. Hopefully Apple will launch one sometime and no doubt charge a fortune for it.

  24. Calrez

Future foldable with USB 4, dualboot windows 11 one device: phone, tablet, desktop (when plugged to the dock). No company would do it tho cause it would cannibalize sales of their other devices
