After testing the Quadro K620 in a strange gaming PC from eBay we decided to see how it performs inside a trusty Optiplex. The K620 Quadro performs similar to the GT1030 but for about half the price. Let’s make a budget rig and test it in games!

Youre a liar you always name the vids 'built' but not bought cuz it doesn't ship for free here
Use a 22" 720p monitor/tv and this would probably play modern games at decent frames vram willing.
its still better than my pc 🙁
Nice shirt bro, course I kind of forgot you always play as goku. Just been getting back into DBZ I got Lord Slug & The Broly movie. Going to burn my own 'best of dbz' dvds too.
great video for people on an ultra tight budget… 👍
I hate it when you don't show cpu Temps in overlay 🙂
Rx 460 has entered the chat
Thank you for always sharing your videos and directions .❤😍🥰
I think the best way to maintain and create wealth is to invest ,it has always worked for me.
these small optiplex i thought they discontinue it, it so small, dell would of thought making bigger case
bro i have i5 650
6gb ram
gt730 2gb gddr5
but fortnite very lagi
and gameloop emulater lag and stuck
plz fix my problem
quadro power efficient gpu good for the summer
MAKE MORE OPTIPLEX BUILDS
Quadro gets you Nvenc too which is pretty cool compared to the GT 1030
Nice
It must be the CPU that makes it perform better than my system because I have a 3GB GPU and I get more stutters and less FPS in those games. I also have my games stored on an HHD which is very slow.
5:33 or you casn install a Linux Distribution like Pop OS or Holo ISO to play games on Linux. I hope you guys do more videos on Linux Distributions ready for gaming cause it's starting to get huge thanks in part to the Steam Deck.
Just did this build with an optiplex 3040 and an old firepro V3900 i got from a PC recycler friend i know. runs fortnite at 60fps ultra low at 90% resolution. Its for my wife who is just getting into shooters. So we can play together
Good video
My father works as an IT manager at his company. They just recycle the old pcs. He informed me that they had some desktops they are getting rid of. I was it was going to be an older OptiPlex and I wanted to try to put together a little gaming/emulation machine. He gives me one. It's a 9th gen Intel 9700 OptiPlex sff from 2019. I threw a RX 6400 in there, The slightly higher wattage power supply and a 1tb SSD. works like a champ. Best thing is the operating system is on a 256gb NVME drive. So, it's actually pretty damn fast. Doesn't beat out my Custom-built pc but is definitely faster than most cheap OptiPlex builds. I think I spent a total of $200 on it. maybe a little less. I did add an 80mm fan to the front, and recently upgraded the CPU fan. That was a pain in the ass that involved cutting screws down. Not bad though for something that I got for free.
