Honest questions, Nick, do you read all the manuals? Do you go through intensive training at some Mercedes academy type of thing? Do you spend most of your time experimenting everything you can on all Mercedes models? Or all of the above? 😅 Seriously, the amount of things, useful things!, that I've learned here about my car that I would never learn otherwise. Thank you and please, keep making these videos. 😀👍

My understanding is using the foot brake drains the battery. Instead, try to coast, rolling stop to a junction and use the paddles D- and D- – to also help you brake especially going downhill. This will add miles to the battery (I kid you not). Takes a bit of getting used to but it also saves brake wear which can be an issue with heavy electric vehicles. I tend to drive in comfort mode all the time.

I have an A250e hybrid and Mercedes say that the bat range is 44 miles. It’s never been above 35 miles and is currently at 25 miles of range. It’s a massive difference.

Fantastic tips again nick I have just bought a new glc 300e love it but would be better if the regen was better

Use the Hold feature at lights. (long press of the break pedal) this reduces the amount of power usage. It's only a small amount but ever little helps

Hi Nick, when using regen breaking does this trigger the break lights?

I had a hybrid A class. I got rid of it after 6 months. It was a pain in the arse to keep charged, get charged and put fuel in too often.
My range was meant to be 45 miles and you’d be lucky if I got 20 miles. But used to take 2 hours to charge.
I went back to full petrol and now I get 300 miles plus before I have to put fuel in.

Hi Nick. As a DK viewer, I wish subtitle with kilometers, when you explain something, where "miles" is included. Have a nice weekend!

"you can put the heating on before you get to it" … that makes me wonder, do they offer auxiliary pre-heating on non-electric Mercedes cars like they do here in Germany? I've got "Standheizung" on my current S-Class car and had it on an earlier E-Class too. It can be operated via timer (or the separate remote control which has a really long range).

Hello, Nick! Can you please explain the Battery Level driving mode? I just got my new GLA 250e and I am trying to figure out which driving mode is the best to use in order to get the best consumption. Best regards!

What is the Max Power gauge referring to? It's always 'full', it never changes.
