But my Medianav doesn't have Android support in the first place 😭
Eh, would rather plug in. It's more expensive than a charger, and there is lag. Also, 9to5 is pretty desperate for clicks anyway.
Only problem with these wireless devices is that it is using your phone connection for app usage. For example, map data is coming via your phone. This means you are sending/receiving data both wirelessly to the AAWireless, as well as through your cell provider. That in itself is not a great problem, but the hit your battery takes from this activity is quite heavy. I have used one (in all fairness, not this specific brand) for a while, and while extremely convenient, it killed by battery rather quickly. This meant I needed to plug it in to charge it. For me, the juice was not worth the squeeze. YMMV.
Link is to Amazon us 🙄
Just need a newer car with a "head unit" haha. Daily driver 2002 Suburban.
Très bonne expérience, fonctionne à merveille avec la navigation "TomTom GO Navigation"
Many newer cars support wireless Android and Apple CarPlay now, I prefer wired myself no breaks in Bluetooth. It’s also illegal to use you’re phone technically in the UK at a drive thru restaurant as the premises are open to the public and therefore open to the same road laws as driving on any public roads in the UK.
Great when it works, not as reliable as wired.
u lost me at ''sponsored'' lmao
thanks man, need to get a new head unit for my 2008 car. Gunna be adding this to the setup too along with my qaud lock wireless charging head 👌
I have a relatively entry level compact SUV from VW (2022 model). Wireless Android auto and Carplay as standard.
Yet many more expensive cars don't.
I think I'd rather just plug my phone in than pay £80 for a dongle
Nice
