Wrong. Computer Science, even System Analyst and Development which is my degree you do learn how to build a PC. It isn't just programing, CompSci you learn even how to build a CPU from scratch with transistors to build adresses, registry and even assembly functions. This post is probably fake.

  2. @Choroalp

Computer Sciemcr is mostly… Just math and theory. Nearly no Pyhysical components

  4. @cosmic8713

how can ai replace us if we cant even build their bodies right

  5. @Revltn320

Academic achievements =/= Intelligence or common sense

  6. @qwerty-69420

I haven't even built a PC before and I can probably make a better oneπŸ’€

  7. I built my first pc recently, I am 15 and did a lot of research, it works really well, but one thing I didn't do was plug the HDMI into the gpu πŸ˜…, it's always those small mistake, but I found out what was wrong

  8. @berkertaskiran

The dude knows he needs a thermal paste but doesn't know where he needs to apply it. /facepalm

  9. @flarexcod9063

So how would you go about cleaning it out without bending the pins? I’m assuming a soft bristle toothbrush correct?

  10. @zombl337og

Computer Science = Theory of Computing Essentially

  11. @kacor0078

No hardware knowledge is earned in uni, but U shall learn 6-10different languages on shit lvl

  12. As a CS major, most of us are not this dumb. Every Comp sci major should have to build a computer to understand them imo.

  13. @deadpain2483

Computer major didn't even learn what computer is how it works or about parts?
Did he really did the course? I mean it's the basic stuff people teach in school.

  14. @tkvibes117

Yeah, I might replace this but who came first the person or the AIπŸ˜‚

  15. @Shahm-rx8lg

No, as a person studying CS, it is 70% hardware, like how the components work, and the programming part is like 30%

  16. I just built my first one ever i5-12600KF, Kraken 120, gtx 3060,32gb ddr4, at just around 1k definitely ups and downs of emotion while building it but I did at least 30 hours of research before building it. I think it’s fun and something everyone should do at least once

  17. @Peyton429

I’m boutta build my first one and I’ve only watched a few videos to know quite a bit πŸ˜‚
