Available Here – http://amzn.to/2i45SI5

The Lenovo Yoga 920 is one of the best pickups for people looking for a light 2-in-1 device. A great device for people looking to take full advantage of both the tablet and laptop mode. Built with a nearly edgeless 4K display for media consumption and drawing space with their Active Pen 2. 360-degree sounds with Dolby Atmos through headphones. 8th Gen Intel Kaby Lake R processors designed for multitasking. And instant login with a fingerprint reader using Windows Hello.

An awesome laptop, decent tent-mode device but not a great tablet, those edges are nasty sharp. Thanks for watching!

Just bought it today and planning to upgrade the ram to 16gb from current 8gb and ssd to 1tb from current 256gb..just wanted to know if its possible or not (hope so). Other than that, the display is simply awesome and overall feel is quite premium.

Sounds pretty anal and whiny review to me why don't you say what computer would suit you just perfectly.

After watching 483 reviews from this guy, I am still waiting for the one in which he thinks the laptop is good.

  8. I have never watched this guy’s videos for interest of purchasing laptops. I just like watching him bitch and moan about different laptop problems.

  9. Gagan Gujral

I have it and its shit. Never been able to use it. Damn thing hangs all the time.

I personally love the feel of the "sharp edges" it feels tactical. I do wish the screen was a little taller. They have extra black or white space near the fold where it would have made an even better wider screen for portrait mode. Still not bad though. I kind of wish they told you the lanes for Thunderbolt on this thing. I'm glad it hit the shot in the dark with it. I probably use it with an egpu as a mobile desktop/laptop.

Just got this laptop no idea why everyone mentions it being really sharp.. I am actually trying hard to get cut on this laptop, still nothing. The one part I hate so far, is its pretty loud the fan, seems to always come on with temperature going up to high 90's

  17. I hate this laptop!! I bought it at a price of a mcbook and after a year, it started randomly shutting off with a boot failure message. It has happened a couple of times when I needed it very bad. I am so furious at Lenovo. It turns off and I cannot start it. It just won’t work. It starts after a couple of hours or days!

Forget the new Mac pro cheese grater, you can buy a carrot grater for less

Im confused what laptop to buy, my choices are the lenovo yoga c930, 520 (corei7), or should i go for a zenbook? Or does anyone have a better suggestion? I need a laptop for video editing and photoshop

Someone misunderstood the briefing “cutting edge” Technology 😝😝
I was planning on getting this but if the edges are sharp.. NO WAY!
Thanks for the heads-up! Liked and subs.

tbh it really doesnt feel that sharp (only the two front corners), i have a 920 13.9" bronze

This computer satisfies this need perfectly JustU.Faith/Lenovo_Yoga?ㅛ a very capable laptop with excellent performance / response time, lots of memory and good display and keyboard feel. And the ability to swing the display 360 degrees to form a pretty good tablet is pretty impressive.

I wonder if hitting it with some careful sanding on the edges, or even a metal file, would help, if it's possible to do this without trashing the finish

  25. 2 years late but I just wanted to say, you missed the best bit. It uses Wacom AES for the pen. This is a digital artists dream.

I need to replace the battery on mine. After an year of use, it died. How should I identify this model when looking for battery replacement? THANKS!

  27. Kris Deb

After two years – not the best laptop for the price. Lots of issues with screen connector, replaced once under warranty but other users reported the issue keeps coming back. Keyboard is very fragile, luckily, we found new one on eBay and I replaced it myself – Lenovo FRU is a WHOLE unit which costs 80% price of the whole laptop (wtf?). Luckily, you can replace everything if you know how to do it, so battery, trackpad, keyboard, motherboard, hard drive etc.

i got this laptop 2 years ago, broke down in six months, wont turn on. i sent it to authorized lenovo repairs, said motherboard is not working, would cost 600 on repairs, i told em to go ahead and do it. i didnt get their call for sometimes, so after 2 months, they said they didnt have the parts. its been sitting in my cupboard for 2 years now, i find it so alarming that the laptop i spent 1400 wont even last.

It IS very loud and very hot…looks like every one else here to comment about carrot…

  30. Alen R.

01:05 this is so helpful device! I mean you can also use your laptop in the kitchen when you want to cook some healthy food. Say goodbye to expensive knives!

  31. Builder

You should try upgrading the SSD in that unit and you'd have a bigger complaint beyond sharp enough edges to make carrot salad…

Amazing review. I've owned mine for years & recently repaired my battery, so this video was recommended. Hilarious but very thorough review. You covered everything I've noticed about the device over the years, both good and bad. I use it primarily as a laptop so I haven't been worried about the negatives, but yes, the sound is a little less than ideal and the screen brightness is a little less than perfect. The 4k screen is amazingly sharp though and the processor is still working great. And the battery, which was fantastic, took 3 years to go bad and then was super-easy to replace (as is obvious from your tear-down view). Great job on this!
