cyberpunk deserves spot 1 or 2 lol, you didn't even mention the fact that they promised groundbreaking rpg branching stories with impactful decisions lol, the end game was nothing like that, the 4 endings boiled down to 4 conversations with keeanu, everything else played the same, the scaling system was boring, the most generic open world, on top of that all the jabs they threw at ubisoft and bethesda, you guys filtering because of what cdpr might thing is just sad hahaha, someone wants early game access it seems.
I feel like games even allways online games have to think to make a game for people who play it allways and the good old compain to bring people who don't plan to play forever
Don't care how good cyberpunk is now still not buying it π
Where's Starfield?
You people gotta learn to quit giving away your money ππππ
Wow, No No Man's Sky, the original Cyberpunk redemption story? Original list, then.
It's interesting that some of the disappointments from proven studios came after some relevant people left (Rocksteady, Bioware).
All of them
Every AAA game between now and the end of time. As no one hates AAA games more than people who buy them and then play them for literally hundreds of hours.
Saints row looks like gta 6 but when open game…
Battlefield 2042 deserves to be on this list. I saw millions hyped when the trailer came out and compare the hype then to the beta tests and… oh boy
You might as well just have said every bioware game from the last ten years π
1 : Halo Infinite
Everything else after
I'm so disappointed I'm not even gonna watch this video lol
Oh awesome ! Jake making the same video he's made like 4 or 5 times before … Jesus .
I dunnoβ¦..I think my expectations have been so low for every game for so many years now, its just a surprise when something is actually good. A lot of these games I expected to be bad, and they were. I havenβt preordered a game in over 5 years, and probably never will again.
Less a game and an event in the gaming world that just made me super sad was Bungies layoffs last October.
I know "buh, Destiny has been one big disappointment for the last 10 years" but when you have so many good memories and good things happening over the decade you can't just write off the series as a disappointment just because you had a falling out.
I'm just preempting all the people that might respond to this comment saying as much. I've heard every argument at this point π
Skid Row Repoop
I would have put Rocksteady at number 1. They were easily the biggest game developer beloved by gamers behind Rockstar Games. If they had put out a single-player linear Batman game, it would have been like printing money. Self-sabotage is just the worst kind. vigorously smh, with extreme eye rolls on that one.
The Callisto Protocol was good/enjoyable lol on sale π
Battlefield 2042 dodged a bullet here somehow.
Starfield deserves a spot here
Surprised I didn't see Anthem
I only played Mass Effect in 2023 with the ultimate edition and then moved to Andromeda and acctualy had a good time.
I G N. Kotaku too. Such disappointments.
Speaking as a saints row fanβ¦I didnβt absolutely hate the new one,it had the feel and the look and customizations, but the characters were just blah,I played through it once that was good enough for meπ
Starfield should be number 1
Back 4 Blood was also a big let down.
