Forever Skies AKA Upnautica
I know it's not "new" but it was just released for the Oculus Quest 2 (not calling it Meta) and it's called Into the Radius. Hands down the best survival game out there. DayZ was my go-to, but this one is mint. Just worth a look for those who play VR.

I have to mention that saying you have never seen something like Stranded: Alien Dawn before would be a little misleading. Icarus (first cohort) does basically the exact same thing.
