It’s no secret that we have been seeing a resurgence of remakes of classic games in the last few years, and while there is an argument to be had that developers should focus on building new IPs rather than remaking old games, it’s also inarguable that these remakes provide an avenue for new players to discover a classic without having to go through the many frustrations that come along with playing the original.
The PS3 generation is home to plenty of games that would benefit a lot from a ground-up remake that’s built for PS5. In this video, we will be taking a look at 15 such games ranging from shooters like Resistance: Fall of Man to action adventures like Enslaved and much more.

ES4:Oblivion is my all time favourite game and I'd be over the moon if it ever got a remake, Shivering Isles is easily ones of the best DLC's to date as well and seeing the locations in the Shivering Isles on modern consoles would be amazing to see.

I play games from 30 years ago, pixelated shit and whatnot, and I dont think any of these PS3 era games (2006-2013) mentioned here really 'need' remake. They are still playable today, and look at least decent. Of course it would be nice to play them with updated graphics and better controls, but I could find many older but classic awesome games, that would benefit more if remade.
I love my remakes and remasters but if a game already has a remaster and plays fine and looks fine then we don’t need a remake. I’d rather we get remakes of PS1/2 games but also I want them to include the original game. I always thought that would be a cool idea. Imagine if Resident Evil 2 Remake had the original remastered too.

At this rate, I'm more concerned with being able to play PS3 games at all on PS4/PS5. Because a lot of PS3-PS1 games, cannot. Some of these games can technically be played on PS5.
I really disliked sleeping dogs. Its combat was very tedious. Should have put in more guns imo
