Alright, so chances are, if you’ve done any research into the home vacuum space, a few words probably from the intro stood out to you. So first, it’s ECOX. You’ve likely heard about this company before because they’ve been in this business for over two decades. By my keen math, that is over 20 years. And they’ve been on this mission to bring like, quote, “robotics for all,” and they make some very, very cool advanced robotics that make your life easier.

So, the second word that might have stood out here is DEEBOT X2. So, the X2 Omni launched a few months ago, and it’s an advanced tech and signature square design. It made it kind of stand out for being one of the best robot vacuums on the market, and for a really good reason, ’cause it does an amazing job cleaning up virtually like any mess that hits your floor. But as much as I love all of that tech, if I have to admit, some jobs are better left to humans, and sometimes when you’re cleaning, there are things that sort of this guy just can’t get, which is why ECOX is launching this, the DEEBOT X2 Combo, which combines the brains and cleaning power of the X2 with the flexibility of a handheld vacuum, giving you an integrated system for all your home cleaning needs.

Alright, so this is our little like cleaning corner that houses the all-in-one Omni station. This is everything you need to clean your house. It’s sleek, compact, and obviously completely hands-free too. So, to kick things off, I’m going to have the X2 Combo robot start cleaning, and I can set this up on a schedule or manually start from my phone. This guy is going to wake up and get to work, meaning I don’t have to wake up and get to work.

One of the first things you may notice is its square design. Not only does it look way better than the big brown blob, but also, a thinner profile is going to help better fit into corners for edge-to-edge cleaning. With an increased 8,700 PA of suction power, this is going to have no problem sucking up whatever nasty crumbs, pet hair, or gross things happen to live on your floor. But that’s not it, the X2 Combo is also an amazing mop as well. It’s loaded with the OSMO turbo 2.0 pressurized mopping system, which is going to powerfully scrub away stains and get your floors clean enough to eat on. And don’t worry if you’ve got a mix of carpet and hard floor surfaces, as it cleans, the robot’s smart enough to lift up its mopping bits when it detects it on carpet.

Speaking of smarts, as cool as the cleaning power is, it’s even cooler, it’s all the tech that is making this partly bit of magic happen. So, ECOX is really well known for deploying cutting-edge technology, and the X2 Combo is using some of the same systems as autonomous vehicles. So, it’s got its upgraded navigation system features dual laser LAR and AIVI 3D built right into the edges of the square DEEBOT. So, it’s also going to get obviously better accuracy, better motion, and can truly map out its surroundings so it knows where it is and how to best clean.

So, the vacuum is doing its thing, there are other areas of the house that need some attention: couches, coffee tables, some rugs. Unfortunately, the vacuum can’t help me here, which couldn’t be easier. So all I’ve got to do is pop out this handheld vac, and I’m good to go. So now I’ve got freedom and flexibility with a really nice handheld vacuum, let’s me quickly and easily clean kind of like the other stuff while the robot focuses on the floors. I also love that it comes with several different attachments to help you better clean different parts of your house.

There isn’t sort of much to it, it’s really simple but in the absolute best way possible. Sometimes all you need is a quick once-over with a vacuum, and having one that is totally cordless, packs great suction power, has versatile attachments, and is built-in is really nice. So once the cleaning is done, both vacuums pop back into the Omni, and that’s it, charging, emptying, refilling, mop washing all happens right here automatically. And of course, all the other smarts you’d want from a system like this in 2024 are there and onboard. It’s one of the first matter-ready robot vacuums on the market, and its Eco 2.0 use the ability to speak directions and command adjustments and set schedule you can fully automate the cleaning the communication speed with Eco is fast and reliable cuz it’s a direct connection with the robot there’s no third party Bridges to get in the way and you get the convenience of Google and Electa controls too.
