    "It's supposed to replace the leather case" and "running your nail over it leaves a permanent mark". Sounds just like leather to me.

    The best case is the transparent case from rhinoshield. It never gets yellow, it shows the design, and is so much durable

    Guess everyone forgot leather scratches too. Why do people freak out when something new comes out? Sorry white people that Apple didn’t give you what you want and now you’re all crying. Already saying it won’t look so good after a while…..guess we’re predicting the future too. Also who’s going around doing these intentional scratches everyone is going out of their way to do. I babied my leather case. I don’t recall you guys scratch testing the leather.

    Ps I have the fine woven case and it’s fine so far. But what do I know maybe I need to go out of my way to scratch it purposely so I can then complain how scratched it is.

    Just get a Peak Design case. Cheaper and much better material. Plus strong magnets for magsafe

    The leather was equally bad as well, let's not lie to ourself, yes the color looks good, but even this case has good look.

    the feel of the leather was just not it, not to mention, over time it also used to start shredding a few parts off, like any normal leather would.

    This I think feels still more premium than leather.

    anyways 2rd party cases will always be available so not really a big deal for anyone.

    I do not know any 3rd party that makes cases like this, but leather cases almost every other 3rd party makes.

    so it is also nice to have this variety.

    Great review I have the iPhone 14 pro max I bought the leather case in midnight last year it’s already fraying at the bottom of the case 🥺📱📱📱📱

    I got this case, and didn’t hate it so much… until I realized that most of the USB-C cables I own don’t fit through the case’s cutout. My phone is now caseless until I figure out what I want. I’ve always gotten the leather case and been happy with it before this.

    Apple is trying to help use up plastics that are out in the world by trying to make them useful, but what they've done is create a case made out of microplastics that is insanely weak.
    These will be pulled from the market soon and will end back in the landfills/oceans/etc.
    Why Apple didn't decide to use an eco friendly cork or textured silicone case, is the ultimate question.

    Let’s be honest has there been any Apple accessory in the history of Apple accessories that has been better quality than third-party. The only reason to get Apple accessories is for the MFI certification, or in some cases like the magic mouse, better scrolling, and gestures.

    the leather cases sucked too. after 6 months most of the leather had worn away or become water damaged from rain, the red leather was a no go

    I know apple did it for the environment, but I'm sure there's plenty of faux leather options they could have chosen instead.
    I think i even saw one made out of mangoes!!

    That finger nail scratching hype is weird😂 have you ever run your finger nail over a leather case like that? You will probably find half the case under your nail.
    I mean I don’t use the case and I don’t wanna defend it, but that finger nail stuff is a very bad argument imo.🙈

    Don’t agree with the price as well, but I kinda like the case tho. I will say it’s pretty hard to take the my 15 pro out of the case with activating the button on the phone.

    I don’t get it … You got scratches from just scratching, but also in the leather cases? Why is the outcry so great now?

    Not that it’s bad when you see it, but that’s always the case with every case except the clear cases ^^
