Dam so many build options it's hard not to have fomo.

  2. Just building a new video edit PC with a i9 13900k with x3 NME SSD drives, using Adobe Premiere Pro, but the RTX 4080 is dam expensive.

  3. TRC_WA

    I do all my gaming and video editing on a 7950x3D, 4090, 64GB DDR5 6000mhz CL30, 32TB SSD (4x 2TB 990 Pro, 4x 2TB 970 Evo Plus, 2x 8TB 870 Qvo)… 48” LG CX OLED. I built it in May and it is truly my dream build. 👍

The IO on Creator motherboard is limited yet exceedingly stretched. I see this as a problem with the available PCIe lanes.

Minimize the connected devices and you will see the difference

  5. maxsun z370

i dont belived you change case with new case but same configuration AIO than old case

  6. BATPENS

Do a gaming test on your pc . Rdr2 and warzone 2.0 with max settings.

  7. Fotek

Transfer speeds have been an issue for so long, I genuinely think it's a Windows problem because explorer is always freezing and crashing etc. I often transfer files from my PC to my S8 Tablet via USB3, if I try transfer a folder with lots of files it takes forever and often crashes everything. But if I zip the folder and then transfer as a single file, it's much quicker and no issues. Transfer speeds still feel slow for today's hardware. It's often faster for me to upload to Google Drive and then Download the file as I have a full fibre symmetric Gigabit internet connection.

Can you try switching the motherboard and report if you still experience the same problem, preferably a motherboard from a different vendor. I would also love to know wether it's a thunderbolt issue or an Asus motherboards issue.

  9. InsertName Here

Can you explain how you’re running 128Gb of DDR5 memory in this build?

I have contacted many people about a build I’m planning and every response I get is that using all 4 dims will cause massive issues with my ram

  10. Dreamson parker

i wonder if crucial RAM and SSD are good for creative work like 3D and editing? and if you can make a video about build PC budget 4000$ to 4500$ using Crucial RAM i really appreciate

  11. SpirexOne

USB 3.1 and TB4 protocols are different. TB requires higher compliance to their specification, so something like the USB cable could slow things down. TB and USB C cables look the same, but TB certified cords are more expensive. If swapping cables isn't an option, I would reco getting a TB4 tool-less enclosure and swap the NVME when needed. I have both USBC and TB3 enclosures for switching between my MAC and PC.

  12. ChukuTribe

All that work for one cpu…😬That i7 14700k looking more and more enticing

I would LOVE if this channel went into in depth with intels Quicksync crushing Davinci Resolve all the time when rendering. Has been an issue for over 2 years… while in theory the Intel IGPU is an absolute blessing, it makes complex Renders (Wedding Films in my case) very unstable. It crashes Davinci Resolve randomly when using h265 10bit 422 Footage and sadly even 4090 cant decode this so its either CPU bruteforce or iGPU, but IGPU causes crashes A LOT… any thoughts on this?

  14. Purnell Darrell

The problem with the IO is that Alder And Rapture Lake CPUs have the Io controller on the motherboard and not on the chip like the previous generations did. All IO is laggy with these CPUs. I notice it just normal use on my 13900k computer.

  15. Obie327

Tech Notice, I love the look of the Editor PC! But… This video should have been called…. "The Pro ART inconsistent performance and wonky USB editor review?" Intel's 13 Gen CPU's from what I heard do introduce sort some of a latency penalty. (Brian from Tech Yes alluded on) I'm thinking Meteor Lake this fall on Laptops or next year on Desktop might mitigate this issue? Hopefully you could do a second video to figure this out or a fix? I'm curious if it's between physical cable/device issue or some software/hardware compatibility situation? Thanks for the expertly published content.

Regarding your Sonnet Allegro PRO USB card. Can you please enter your Asus BIOS and check under PCH Configuration menu if your Sonnet card is actually recognised as PCIe x4 speed device. I have same Sonnet Allegro Pro card and it is recognised in my Asus Z790 motherboard only as x2 speed device. There are other people who complains on internet about similar issues with Z690/Z790 motherboards and USB controllers based on ASMedia ASM3142 chips which are recognised only at half speed x2 devices.

  17. Leonardo Scholz

Do you think you could stick two suprim water-cooled 4090s there?

  18. Naji Sibin

You need to check speed of all the fast USBs on motherboard overviews. I dont know why nobody does that it os actually important

  19. mike s

At about minute 6 or so, the aio is installed with the tubes at the top, that's going to create air pockets near the opening of the tubes. Will also possibly create a gurgling noise.
