testing different laptop performance. To do that properly I have prepeared a big test project to test Android Studio real life performance.

That is open source project of Firefox browser for Android, it weights 6Mb and when unpacked and everything setup – 6Gb.
It compiles for more than 7 min on my desktop machine, and 2-3 times faster on some modern PC machines.
It would be cool if you could do indepth test with this project for us Android developers, so we could see and compare
the results with our machines, for this there is an excel file with results:

If you own PC or Mac now, I don't know 100% is that devices you review your own or they just "come and go", but
it would be great to make a test on them. And also interesting to test this project on Macbook Pro 2019 16" and the new one

People seem to think it’s the battery that’s improved …. isn’t it because of the M1’s ARM (RISC) architecture that the laptop has better battery life ?

Dave. I've never used a Macbook before. I really like the iPad Pros and want to get a 2021 model. I would like to draw on a big 12.9" screen, write down my thoughts use it as a diary, stream videos and play games on it. Maybe get the keyboard if I really wanna type at some point. Shoul I get a Macbook for said purposes or the iPad? I know the Apple Pencil won't work on the Macbook. Also, a bigger than 12.9" screen will be cumbersome to move around, not too portable. I know you can give the best advise on this. Thanks!

2. I still haven't heard one person in the real world mention Apple's M1 chip.
3. Apple's laptop market share remains at 7%-8%.
