As someone who had both the regular 6 and 7 Pixel, this year I went with the Pro. Google offering $400 off for Fi users was a no brainer.
Why reduce the size to 6.2 to small
7 6.3 was perfect size
I'm loving my 8 Pro. Glad I bought it. It's a solid phone through and through.
чётко
I think in about 3 years.. if google has finally included the "promised" features for this phone, I'll pick one up knowing i'll still get 4 more years of software updates? (:
SO can anyone explain why the 1TB model of the Pro is ONLY available in the US? and the 512GB is only available in black. Iphones have been available with 1TB for around 3 years and with 50fps UHD video Google must be mad to limit the memory.
I upgraded from the P6 to the P7P. A year later, could've saved the cash and done without the few upgrades…
Funny still dont want to give up my pixel 5…perfect size. They need a small pro phone
I'm still waiting for it to be shipped 😢
Have you noticed that fingerprint sensor works slower than ultrasonic one in samsung?
Obviously the 8 Pro with a better and more versatile camera setup 👌
I get why they so a base and a pro at launch then the a later but just stop. Develop the a to actually compete with the pro at launch and let people choose more easily. I'll always go with the pro version and skip whol generations until they prove the next thing is better. The 8 pro is definitely a worth while upgrade for me from the 6 pro. I should have it in my hands later today.
Your influence resonates globally! _ "Continuous improvement is the way."
weren't you on 9to5google ?
Keeping my 5 until Google figures out how to make something that size again.
The 8 pro cuz it's very slightly bigger than my 6 amateur
Mobile phone is mainly for used for taking the phone in our hand or pocket. Only pixel 8 will comply. I prefer only p8 will be good which is handy and good features. If anybody want pro modes they can buy a good dslr camera
The pro is the perfect size 👌🏾
I just upgraded to the 8 pro from the 6. Night and day performance difference but it's becoming seamless like switching iPhones. Ready to test more performance
That camera user interface looks buggy
None is the only correct answer
Bought the 8/Rose. Just got through setting it up. There are a billion options in Android 14. Exhausted.
Google needs to bring the Pro controls to the 8. Limiting software is a bad move from Google.
I am always a 2 phone guy and used to have a big android and smaller iphone. But now that android battery has been really good, I flipped it up and have a smaller android pixel 6 and the big iphone pro max. I would say the pixel 6 is not that small at 6.4 inches so i feel like i have 2 big phones now. The pixel 8 looks more compact and might be worth the upgrade.
Just gonna gloss over the temperature sensor
do you think the tensor chip will keep up for 7 years?
buy the pro and just sell the google watch and it's the same price as the regular pixel 8
Really wish it came in more color options. Awesome phone, don't be scared to standout
Any chance we can get louder audio in these vids? I always have the turn the volume almost all the way up
Dumbass temperature sensor + dumbass mmWave antenna = take that worthless shit out and drop the price back down. And let's be clear: Google's promises (i.e., the 7 updates thing) are meaningless. They are the poster child of false promises. Almost like the company itself is a narcissist.
Some of us just want a substitute for the 15 and 14pro …why they water down the none pro version is annoying
I might choose smaller one just because of the amazing Hazel colour. Love it lol.
Also I don't feel like I need that fancy AI pro features at all. I mean it's kind of silly. What's the point of photography then… Great showcase of tech. anyway just a bit cringy
Google pixel with SD8 Gen 2 is the only phone that would ever be good. Xiaomi too, if only they were availible in the USA
I don't like the device, prolly waiting for the google pixel 11
Neither… they need to upgrade that finger print sensor. The front camera for face ID.
Improve the tensor power draw, cpu power and battery
One fits comfortably in my pocket, the other does not. Easy choice!
