Samsung, here’s why you NEED to make a Galaxy S25 Pro!

Rumors are swirling that Google will release a more compact Pixel 9 Pro. Like the iPhone, Google will offer a large one (Pixel 9 Pro XL) and a smaller one (Pixel 9 Pro). Here’s why I think Samsung needs to join the party with a Samsung Galaxy S25 Pro! Check out the article for more:

I agree. I've sold my S24U as it's too big and square. I miss my S21U!

  2. @ReiEvangelista

There's no news in this video. Only rumors, speculations, and wishful thinking – that can potentially spread misinformation. This kind of content is what 3rd rate tabloids are made of.

If Android Authority is now a personal vlog, let me know so I can unsubscribe.

  3. @modestman6753

No need nonsense pro name, just give the plus specs around same as ultra's specs. People shouldn't obsess copying iphone 'pro' name!!

  4. @N3tigen

I want Samsung should put s pen inside tablet and fold body .
And s25 pro without s pen exclusive for camera and display

  5. @N3tigen

    But i want
To Samsung back with old Note and s series
Note for ai ft. And s pen
S series for camera 🤳 only
    And ultra dedicated gaming.

  6. @Mikkel94

Dont agree at all apples reason to make a pro phone is an extra camera and 120hz

The s2x s2x+ already have that so there's no room in the line up

  7. @mikeachoy

I think Samsung needs to focus on their pricing. I dont think their yearly "upgrades" justify the super high price tag when oneplus is around $1k for the top flagship

  8. @BozQ

I doubt Samsung will be interested in this strategy. They will not want to diminish the sales of their Ultra variant when so much of the features are in the "Pro" model.

And also they will probably suffer a loss when they release four models for their flagships. I honestly don't see this happening.

  9. @oso_maloso

That's why the Samsung FE line exists. 🤷🏽‍♂️

  10. @ChadH2023

How does the s24 or s24 plus not compete or compare to the iPhone 15 pro? The base s24 has everything the iPhone 15 pro has and for hundreds less. Just say you want a smaller version of the ultra.

  11. @chaxologist2961

Main reason for implementing the Pro should be its very compact size (almost close to the base model) but featuring premium qualities of the Ultra.
The Plus is simply too big in size for almost anybody to hold one-handed which is why they opted to get the Ultra instead.
Google Pixel 9 Pro being around 6.1-6.2 inches across is the golden size for almost everyone while packing the top of the line, premium features.

  12. @navixaxa5023

Samsung has already done this with the S24 Series.

The S24 Plus has 12GB RAM [same as S24U], same UHD+ Resolution, 4900 mAh Battery [S24U has 5000 mAh[.

The S24 Plus is literally the best deal [unless you care about the Cameras or the S-Pen].

Getting the Ultra's Camera Systems to the Plus would be near impossible [cause you'll have to compromise on the Battery].

Further, the iPhone 15 Pro Max's has things the 15 Pro doesn't [especially the Camera if I'm not wrong].

So, I see no point for a S25 Pro ngl.

  13. @pepela2219

they really need to do this. I want the best galaxy phone, but I hate the boxi weird shape of the ultra

  14. They just need to call the baseline "Pro," and that's it: S25 Pro, S25 Pro+, and then the S25 Ultra. Give the S25 Pros grade 2 titanium, 12 GB of RAM for both models, higher mAh batteries, and this year's Ultra cameras except for the 5x. That way, they are the true competitors to Apple's and Google's Pro lineups, while the Ultra sits in a class of its own.

  15. They need to bring back what use to be Samsung but they arnt as long as they come out with a new phone you will promote them nothing new updates camera repeat 😔 it's kinda boring if you ask me as most phones are I only care for upgrade ability lol not once you say micro SD and that is ware they are missing up cause you truly don't care for upgrade ability you want to push a phone yearly

  16. @bindedvision404

Why we need a S Pro in the lineup? S24 Plus was a Pro equivalent.

And why do manufacturers call it a Pro? Professional phone user?

  17. @UteGirlz

Yes. I want the most features possible in the smallest form factor possible.
The regular 6.2 inch S25 with Titanium and the Ultra camera system would be the S25 Pro for me.
If they have make it thicker then make it thicker. Flush cameras would be good.

  18. @chasrifflord

I agree with you I like the size of the plus but the cameras are just not good enough so yeah if they made a s25 pro I would be very interested in getting that

  19. @aminebelhoucine

I’ve been saying this for years, that’s the reason why I left Samsung when they introduced the first ultra

  20. @76anonymous

What about the Samsung fan edition. Isn't that a "4th" phone that Samsung produces which is similar to apple's iphone production?

To me i see the Samsung Galaxy s23 fe as the "first" phone before the s23 because its cheap and has some features of the previous s22. To some they might see it to be in between the s23 and the s23+, Depends on individual. 👀

  21. @rebokfleetfoot

you don't need to upgrade the hardware, my S3 still works fine, with the right firmware

  22. @crow1989

They already do. Its called the ultra. We dont need to keep renaming every companies new flagship with a new buzzword all the time. They just keep charging more each time.

  23. @ZainAjam

Why not just bring the plus series closer to the ultra series in terms of features and call it a day? Why introduce the complexity around changing series' names?

Personally I don't like the moniker Pro. It means professional or productive, and all the phones are surely professional and productive phones? Plus made more sense to me as it is a plus size phone and plus features, and ultra have all the features available

  24. @CPX723

So, Apple needs an Ultra, and Samsung needs a Pro?

  25. @jayd8743

Nope… Not needed. Small one and big one. Cheaper that apple and better in a respects, the pro name is nothing now, dosent mean a thing apart from the cool appeal. Two handsets, larger screen and stylus on the big one… That's all that's needed. Move down from note line to just s and s+ was a good move.

  26. @ashishnmbr

Everyone cries about having a powerful phone with a smaller form factor, but when it comes to buying it nobody does.
We used to have great phones in small sizes like the iPhone mini lineup, Zenfone, Xperia compacts, but none of them survived in the market.

That being said, Samsung just needs to get rid of the Plus models. They provide the least value of all the other phones.

  27. @sydguitar99

Trying to squeeze that many cameras in a small form factor is going to be an engineering marvel because there's no way they can squeeze a big battery in there with 4 sensors

  28. @DarmiGames

So basically, Samsung should make a better phone for around the same money, with a rename

  29. @Salfordian

If they made it a little thicker to contain a 5000mah battery I'd buy it

  30. @ChiTwnKid96

Yes! samsung just needs to turn the plus into a pro and bring back the curve screen and rounded corners with a bigger battery due to no s pen slot and it would fly of the shelves. also maybe upgrade the aluminum to stainless steel and now we talking
