I'm a pixel fanboy but definitely Samsung takes this. After 2 iterations, let's see.
Pixel fold is amazing I love that I can actually use it as an actual phone and when viewing content and emails the inside screen is great
The price point these devices are – this content has no value or significance to the average consumer.

Unbox Therapy aren't as consistent and fun as a few years ago. Mostly just phones and only a few vids in months. I miss cheapest gadgets video, speaker video and such.
I have the both and will decide which one stays but looks like so far the pure android experience with pixel fold & normal phone kind thing's on the outer screen is amazing. I only wish z fold 5 had slightly larger display on folded side. So far both devices are amazing and it is the personal choice. Z fold is more matured but pixel is just more fun to use in my cases. But looks like u can't go wrong with both. Just keep in mind in a daily basis somehow u use it folded more than unfolded.

Samsung all day. It's the Fold 5! Perhaps when Google is on their Pixel Fold 3, I will switch.
Why buy a Fold and use mainly the front display. It's like having a 4K TV but love watching in 720p.
Now, the Honor Magic V2 is a competitor. This is something special.
If I pay $1,800+ on a device and I open it and nothing is optimized, your argument that Google has better software goes out the window, one ui works amazingly, you are buying a promise. Don't waste your money.
When you get the Pixel home and it's in your hand, you open it and see ugly optimization, you will feel screwed.

The crease on these foldable devices is just a big NO for me. I'm not the type of person who puts that much money on a smartphone anyways but even if they were significantly cheaper, I wouldn't want one because of the crease. And the fragility of ghe thing.

I think the Z Fold 6 (in its folded state) needs to be wider. Not necessarily as wide as the Pixel Fold, maybe exactly in between. That would be the sweet spot. It could even have room for a stylus silo.
I've owned both and I love them both but I prefer the pixel fold yeah all apps needs fixing by the developers unless google implements a stretch feature like samsung did but the Ui is smoother , the pics are better , I love the AI features for calls , the fastest text to speech , a usable cover display ,the split quick toggles/ notifications when it's unfolded . but for the z fold I love the hdmi out , samsung dex , the app continuity from closed to open , the app strecthing , ability to have the cover and inner with seperate lay outs . But I know google is putting the presssure on app developers because 60% of my apps are already full screen now and all of my TV's have google built in so I don't have to worry about hdmi out just wish I had a dex mode.

Samsung inner display is awesome I have the fold 3. But Samsung have no competition right now. So they will have that annoying tall front screen. They should have two phones the standard phone and the plus version that have a normal wide screen.

I'm using the Fold 3 right now. I absolutely love foldable phones. I cannot go back to a normal slab phone anymore. With that being said, I absolutely hate Samsung phones. The proprietary bloatware pisses me off and One UI is just not for me. Really hoping Google knocks it out of the park with the Pixel Fold 2. I want to see better cameras, better battery life, smaller bezels, and Tensor G3. Everything else is perfection. Love stock Android so cannot wait to get back into the Pixel world. I really REALLY miss screen calling.
If you want a phone that turns into a bigger phone, get the Samsung. If you want a phone that turns into a tablet, get the Google. I've had the Samsung, now I have Google and I prefer it.
The reason the apps are full screen on the Z is because they are made for phone aspect ratio, which the Z is. The Pixel is tablet ratio, and those that haven't optimized for tablet look bad. You can solve this by rotating the screen so it's in phone aspect.
