B&O is ridiculously priced, but who cares. If you're in that bracket, it's an appealing choice. Beautiful design, incredible sound and over-and-beyond support.

  2. Ozan Colak

Wouldn't the wood actually "cut off" some of the sound

5500& for this shitty trash garbage soundbar?
This guy is totally foolish and so stupid!
Just unsubscribed this foolish guy channel!🤧🤮

  4. Michael

£10k+ setup, motion smoothing left on.

5:19 sound tests dont really work when your recording it and upload it to youtube then people play on there phone..lol

Well.. I must throw another side of the coin. I think possibly it’s damn stupid thing to spend 2k on TV then spend 7k on a f**king soundbar. Your money. However you spend it of course.

  7. Michael Frilund

Hello from Finland. So B&O has made a soundbar that is actually great?

  8. Anthony F

That is idiotic, that costs twice as much as my 77" G1.

  9. Bruce

Tom, you are truly a good guy if Vincent Teoh is your buddy….

Danish design 🇩🇰 If you keep it long enough, it’ll most likely appreciate in value.

and you compare it with sonos ? lol

2:14 for the HDTVTEST fans. A Vincent cameo.

lol Bang and olufensen have a hard time selling tv´s and speakers in Denmark and elsewhere that cost 12-18.000 euros and was about to get backrupt… it is not for normal people. but they have make alot of entry stuff now ,like bluetooth speakers and headphones ect. . but i am glad that now you can buy some of there old innovative speakers like the beolab 5 for much less.

That retro look isn't working for me. I would even leave out the mirror side panels.

You can't call it the best until you've tried the Vifa Stockholm 2.0.
But this b&o looks really nice until you see the price.

I'm genuinely shocked that for THAT high of a price, only 25% of the HDMI inputs meet the current standard (2.1) required to properly run latest gen consoles/PC hardware at their full spec. If I had the money to chuck around for this and say an 83" OLED, I would genuinely consider spending that much on a good and stylish speaker setup … but the notion that I would have to choose between running a PS5 or an XBsX or an HTPC at HDMI 2.1 and thus resigning the rest to only 60hz at 4k is essentially unforgivable at this price-point. Though I guess with that kind of wealth I would probably have a separate gaming-room setup. Still, it contradicts all the "forward-thinking" notion to not even jump up the 3 out of 4 HDMI 2.0 options up to 2.1, which probably only costs a couple of dollars in manufacturing….

Reflected sound 🤔 that's funny coz being a bit of a home theatre enthusiast, I've just spent a shitload getting rid of reflected sound. Reflections brings the same sound, accept it slightly delayed! And a delayed sound can sound kind of muddy. (To experienced ears anyway!)
Mind you having such a well-known brand and considering the tweeters are forward facing… I would imagine one wouldn't have any problems understanding the dialogue (No rewinding)
What about the vocals… well that's where music comes into it and I'm afraid to say no matter how much money a soundbar cost, if the drivers doesn't have enough space between one another, one is not gonna experience any stereo separation / stereo imaging or more importantly soundstage imaging! Basically if one wants to hear vocals / instruments in different parts of the room… well unfortunately am afraid that's only going to be virtual.
I suppose this will all come down to ones viewing habits. If one prefers listening to the TV (rather than music) and doesn't want to mess around with AVRs/amps chassis, cables etc, well this might be the right choice for you. But if one wants to experience both, then that's a whole different matter.
