Rumours surfaced as recently as February this year that development of Gears 6 is in full swing. Whilst The Coalition haven’t officially confirmed anything just yet, it was well known they were at one stage working on a new IP in Unreal Engine 5. In fact, there are two games in the works at one point, both of which have potentially fallen by the wayside in favour of the next entry in Microsoft’s hugely successful Gears of War franchise. So successful is Gears of War in fact that alongside a new game – which, whilst not announced, seems inevitable at this stage – there are movie tie-ins and an animated series in the works thanks to a freshly minted partnership with streaming giant Netflix.
The inevitability of a sequel to 2019’s Gears 5 rests on that game’s ending too, which inarguably concluded on a cliff-hanger. Principal protagonist Kait Diaz, after uncovering her familial history and shadowy destiny, vows to fight on, hellbent now on defeating the new Queen of the Swarm and as is now known to us, her mother Reyna.

The art style has really changed. Hopefully they go back to the gritty, famine look of the first 3 games.
I would really rather just play as Marcus. Although, i think that the gears series reached it's peak at 3. everything after that has been disappointing and i expect gears 6 to continue that trend. Truth be told, it may be time to play the game from a different perspective. Maybe we should switch to playing as the locust. Their motives have always been vague, at best, and that could provide the perfect opportunity to flesh things out.

Yea the things u would discribe as “good” would be trash I hate when linear shooting games add open worlds, like halo infinite was made worse due to the open world it’s not more fun that way and with gears haven cog tags and other collectibles it be a massive pain in the ass to get them, and when u move it to the open world gives the team less time to set up the AI properly and it already kinda sucks and I absolutely don’t want weapon customization what’s so ever I love the way the wepons are as is

They need the characters to play differently. Marcus and Kait have drastically different age, bodies and skills. Like make Marcus a little more tanky, or have bullet time mode called "f@ck it" or something where he is just angry about still fighting and becomes a bullet sponge and all his reloads are perfect. And Kait should be faster with the ability to cloak or extreme sniper accuracy, maybe a remote missle Salvo.

Movement should be like g5 or better!!
