Should you pre-order the iPhone 14? I’m super excited about the iPhone 14 and have already chosen mine! I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I like the changes to the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, and I also like the fact that there is a larger, iPhone 14 Plus.
We no longer have to deal with leaks, and speculation, so let’s take a look at what’s coming and talk about who this iPhone is for.
Apple switched things around this year with the iPhone models, there’s no iPhone 14 Mini so we’re down to two sizes 6.1” and 6.7” which means that you can choose based on the features that you want and not just based on size. With the iPhone 13, if you wanted a 6.7” display, you had to get the 13 Pro Max.

On the same day of the Apple Event, I ordered the basic Iphone 13.
I am a student and I dont do gaming or anything extra with my phone. That said I found the Iphone 14 new features are useless in my own usage. The colour options and ''jump'' in power didnt impress me either.
The 13 will still get me through everything I need without going overboard with money. As a student the money is tight. Its not always the wisest move to order the most new and shiny model.
I cant wait to get the Iphone 13. If you want the new and shiny model, go right ahead. I personally see the Iphone 14 as overkill for most people.
As always, prices get MINIMUM +150€ compared to US price, fuck it i ain’t getting it

Nothing really new on the Pro cameras. Faces are still "smooth and pretty," but Apple hasn't used computational wizardry with the 48 mpx sensor to try to give us the character of great full-frame and medium-format cameras and lenses; e.g., the Canon 135 f/2. Am I missing something, or are these upgrades meh, and no reason to trade-in an iPhone 13 Pro Max?

Have no complaints with regards to the tech. The shades of purple, though, I am shocked by. Have no idea how they decided on those shades; give us violet purple, indigo purple, anything but light greyish purple and purple so dark it might as well be black! Have been using iPhone 7+ and passed on the 12, guess will get this one for the tech upgrade and get a case to cover the bad shade of purple.
underwhelming to say the least… baby steps I would say. None of the new stuff is cool minus the Watch Ultra.
Paid $1,200 for my iPhone 12. I’m not getting a new one unless this one craps itself.
Does the new sensor really have 4 green/red/blue pixels grouped together? Seems the 2X mode would suffer.

Not sure what it is but every new iPhone release just makes this contributor appreciate even more having left that company for Samsung back in 2018. Maybe it's the steady trickle of lost features Apple keeps taking away from consumers i.e. 3.5" jack, charging brick, no external storage, no USB-C compatibility & now no SIM – all the while quietly adopting Android's features, and then advertising itself as the most innovative tech company on the planet with the requisite snootiness and elitism that Cupertino-based company seems to exude. Hope California can keep the lights on over there. ¡Viva Samsung!
