Too expensive, I'll stick with my 27 inch samsung.
The Pro Display XDR is already outdated. At the price it’s selling at, it makes zero sense to buy one except if you want a design piece that will look good on your desk.
$799 “affordable”… in what universe?
The 24” is about in my price range. PLEASE PLEASE tell me its got black bezels. I personally don’t like the white bezels at all. Ill probably have yo go to the apple store or Best Buy and check one of them out. Might have no choice but to buy one. I would guess these screens should be better than the LG ones.

Not a single 4k monitor under $1500 have that level of quality of iMac display. Sick of those monitors they just aren’t great neither bad. Plz release the apple monitor it’s a complete game changing.
I am just repeatedly disappointed every time I see an image of the upcoming mac mini that it won't have an sd slot.
Problem with apple display is, you can’t use it in Windows PC.

The success of these will be entirely price dependant. I edit off a 4K 32 inch screen which is true 10 bit and VA, I cannot think of editing on anything else, the thing is though that display was all of £400. There are good consumer displays for cheap prices already and they are entering a very competitive market.

I’m hoping they release a consumer 32”. 27 would feel small as I’ve been working off a 32” now for a while but it will be no where near as good as Apple’s displays so fingers crossed.
It’s probably cheaper to get a regular Dell U-Series and an LG OLED and calibrate them both, than buy any of these.
I enjoyed and appreciated your monitor review. I would likely be most interested in the 27 inch version for around $1500. 2500 will be too much. One suggestion, please cover the max dimensional resolutions of each monitorSo that you are being explicit about the number of maximum pixels that can be displayed – thanks!

I currently own the 27” Thunderbolt Display and don’t plan on replacing, unless I need to. However, my eye would be on the new 27” option, but would hope for something closer to $1500-$2000. You pay for what you get, and the $1000 I paid for the thunderbolt was totally worth it. Still a fantastic monitor, with a built in camera, which is essential these days.
I only really care about the 27" monitor, to complement my 34" 21:9 screen – but not sure if I would get a second with the new Mac mini pro or 14" MacBook Pro, or just one with 27" iMac Pro … Ultimately depends on what new machine I'm getting.
With Apple's usual "elite" tier costs, the 27" better be XDR at 120Hz and come with an eGPU built in if it's gonna cost more than $1500.

I just picked up the LG 27 inch at the Apple Store 2 days ago and absolutely love it compared to a LG 32 inch I returned on Amazon for it being not as clear with matte finish. However, after seeing that they will release a slightly better monitor for not much more for me to get more eye candy. I have 15 days to return my LG27 are you for sure that they are in production to sell at Apple?
It's amazing how Apple is once again making what we want as well as all the amazing new stuff we didn't know was possible. As an aside; I wonder if Ive's new company insists on telling their clients what they want.

Okay so count me in on my order, it arrives in April since I added the height adjustment stand. Quick question? I have the white version of the magic extended keyboard and Magic Mouse, both in white since the black version keys was not offered. I also own the new MacBook Pro 16 in space grey. My question is I get a lot of fingerprints on my dark colored keys on the laptop. The white keyboard conceals it much better, but I like the look of the new black keys and black mouse to complement the arrival of my new Display Studio. Should I return the white keyboard and mouse and get the black ones to match? Want to see how many fans are out there that like the black keys?

It’s just a monitor and for this price anyone can get a far far far superior and bigger monitor for the leading monitor building companies like LG, Sony or Samsung which apple is not part of.
Curious what they’ll name the 24” display that’s supposed going to pair with the next m2 Mac mini and MacBook Air.
Apple’s strategy seems clear now. Get into display business and have a product aligned with each Mac. Mac Pro goes with Pro Display. Mac Studio goes with Studio Display. So Mac Mini should go with a “Mini Display” ??!!
