  1. blech ! Those 2 epitomize Chinese copycat mentality (on mislabeled) steroids…..

I used to have serveral Deep Blue divers and they were amazing apart from their size. I recently picked up a Yelang Pilot with Swiss quartz for $90 Canadian all in and I wear it everynight as the replacement for an alarm clock that used to sit on my bedside table.

Can't believe you're not familiar with nite watches.
Buiit in the UK under 500£
    Really well made Jody .
    Check them out.
Lots of tritium T100 I think
The nite alpha on bracelet is amazing

What about Ball? Are they worth the money?

  5. Kit

Marathon is my Tritium brand of choice. Have history and quality

  6. Charles P

    It's "a-l-u-m-i-n-u-m" not "a-l-u-m-i-n-i-u-m"! Arrrrgggggghhhhhh!

What about Traser watches? I had a p5900 H3 about 15 years ago – loved the almost sterile face. The movement went after a couple of years but Id be willing to try another one. currently I rock a Vostok Amphibia and an NH35 Orient, plus 4 Gshocks. I had an Omega Seamaster back in the day but I much prefer having a range of more affordable watches. Keep up the good work Jodie.

    Love a 🐠 at Five 😢

Gross. I think even you had trouble staying cheery while reviewing these . Thanks for taking one for the team.

  10. The T-100 Tritium tubes are going to be as bright at 40 years as a more expensive watch with T-25 tubes today.

    YE LANG = 野 (YEAH) 狼 (LUNG) means WILD(野) WOLF( 狼).

  12. These would be hard hitters if it wasn't for the large sizes, although I could maybe pull the second one off. Also personally not a massive fan of the Yelang logo although Im sure others will love it. Thanks for the great video!

I own dozens of Tritium watches from Android, Ball, Chase Durer, Deep Blue and Luminox. Some are well over a decade old and they still glow really good. Even when new they take a few seconds to get your eyes acclimated in the dark. I drive a big rig and they have always served me well for night trips.

  14. Homies3710

That's an absolutely SLAMMING dive watch! Slamming into door frames, table edges and probably other people too!

  15. Daz Herbert

I love how enthusiastic you are about this stuff😂😂 fantastic Jody

  16. sefh 001

I will consider those 2 for myself, my mammoth writs will fit nicely

  17. Mudson

Aragon has some great, inexpensive tritium pieces. The Regeneron T100 is a sturdy, oft-overlooked budget-friendly tritium watch

  18. Mario Cueva

So they don’t know what movement is in it, they don’t know the case size, unlikely it’s been ISO certified. This product just screams quality doesn’t it. Not worth my hard earned dollars at any price.

Affordable tritium watches? I've never used them but I hear that Traser and Nite both do a lot of tritium watches that are below USD$1000. Also Luminox springs to mind.

  20. William Hancock

I'm sorry to have to point out that Yelang are not the most honest seller, they advertise one of their watches as having a Seagull 2100 movement when the pictures are of an nh36 day date movement and with Jody discovering their strange interpretation of what a millimetre is just puts the final nail in the coffin, sorry but I think I will be letting someone else experience the wonders of Yelang and tritium lume 😂 what's the word I was looking for? Oh yeah, garbage and that's being insulting to garbage 😢

  21. chillausmc

I will have to give up my search and get a Luminox on sale. It is unfortunate that none of these appeal to me.

  22. Matt Clarke

15 years? I have a Timex Snoopy Red Baron watch that must somewhere in the region of 40 years old, probably more 😛 Still runs and has the original strap too!

  23. Chris Qua

Im always amazed on the shirts your wearing. May I know where I can get one?

  24. william Rizzo

I might have missed it, but the links appear to be folded??

  25. eggsII

Are solar quartz movements significantly thicker than regular quartz movements?

    Ah! The hand stack…

  26. hattyfarbuckle

I like the orientation of the batons on these as I've seen a few brands that have them 90degrees to the hands which doesn't look right to me

  27. hattyfarbuckle

"How many watches older than 12 years" got me thinking – a TAG diver almost 30yrs despite a rough life, – thought it was close to major rebuild but turns out it was just a dodgy newish battery [Renata] working fine now on another Renata, I include my wife's Ebel at 16yrs since I bought it, crazy 1000m Enzo Mechana with no rotating bezel now 14 still worn every week, another TAG F1 about 13yrs old. I think my Seiko Monster is already 12+ but it was an Asian market only model "new without box" buy off EBAY in Malaysia and I can no longer find purchase details. Others are getting close including a ToughSolar GShock that is 10 this year as is an EcoDrive that works fine despite maybe a year of sensor deprivation in a dark cupboard. Mine tend to be keepers or sold on unworn immediately after I make the mistaken purchase

  28. Brian McCord

Deep Blue make some tritium divers with cleaner designs, but they're also fairly big lads as I recall.

  29. Joel Henderson

I have a NITE MX-10, which cost me about $300 US… and I quite like it but you would rinse them for the daft integrated strap I’m sure. But ya I wanted tritium and I am happy with my purchase.

  30. Alexander B.

Both of these represent the early 2000s aka the naughties. Far too big and clunky for my liking. The endlinks just mimick female end links with these edged middle link outlines. Not for me, so the quest continues!

  31. Matthew Ross

Geez… I think my Helm Vanuatu is smaller! I'll stick with the Ball Tritiums or the Cuda.

  32. Daniel The Geek

Superficially they don’t look bad, but I still wouldn’t want either, if I’m honest. And why on earth does the chrono need two tachymetres? Absolutely no one is going to use ONE much less two of them.
