IOS 16 isn’t that bad. But it’s the buggiest version since iOS 13, which was a mess to me. They need a lot of improvements in the translator and weather app as well. Weather app is useless for me and the translator app is bad. I hope for more stability and bug fixes in the future.
I’m having problem on ios 16.2 returning someone’s calls keeps telling me call failed having to cut phone off to make call
I bought iPhone 14 (Physical sim version) last week.
I updated to latest version too but I'm having a 2 annoying issues
1. Caller screen blackout for several seconds, it won't wake up even if i use physical buttons.
2. When I using wifi i i switch back to mobile it won't work, I have to restart the device to use the mobile data otherwise It won't work.
iOS 16.2 in my 14pro drains battery faster than a beta iOS version
The only thing that I've run into is that I use the Mail widget. If I tap a message on the widget and it goes into mail, sometimes it takes a few seconds before the screen detects touch input again. It just stutters like that sometimes-not every time. Edit: I have the 14 Pro Max.
It’s the crappiest iOS to date. They need to hire better people or something.
It would be great to have better SharePlay in podcasts app, messages and other apps especially please add segment location start playback.

I want to share a bit of information with someone but currently messages show the start position of the clip or podcast that we are trying to share instead of where it begins, it is hard to get the recipient to watch what you’re trying to share if they have the scrub through to exact moment , where you want them to watch or listen.
Apple please give us option to Pause a video while recording, bring back Landscape mode, a Number row key on the native keyboard, Recent call history is a mess, give us at least 500 to 1000 entries instead of just 100 entries, as a businessman we receive 60 calls a day and every after two days the call history gets resets and if we want to see who called last week we can't??? Also Work on T9 Smart dialing on dial pad, then give us option to put app icon where ever we put on the screen instead of locked on the grid… this is 2023 and these BASIC features are still missing on the IOS… what a Shame!
My 14 Pro Max’s battery life isn’t that great on iOS 16.2, just like you often speak of Aaron. I keep it in low power mode, dark mode and LTE only. Everything else is fine.
Lets hope they fix car play. Skype doesnt work and cross over selection doesn’t work. If you delete apps on phone, carplay doesnt always sync with the phone and apps are blank
Support of apple pencil would be excellent if added; a separate app for AirPods update to push the update and see the status or even incorporate it in the settings, complete customization to lock screen, option to check and update apps overnight, Facetime calling status like ringing busy call declined similar to other VOIP apps like WhatsApp or Messenger

Hi Aaron I’ve just recently updated to the 14 Pro Max and have been having issue with the always on display not always being on !!!
Replaced my phone after 3 days at the Apple Store but still the always on display does not always stay on. Then a senior Apple tech explained to me that it doesn’t necessarily always stay on. A bit unusual I think. That’s what it is named isn’t it ? So if you now something else that what be helpful. Cheers John.

So many changes but still no return of all older wallpapers (not even the ADVERTISED ones from the iPhone 13 etc. – all gone) and also no dark mode for the Lockscreen…
I personally also hate the changes they brought to the battery indication. The first version with the percentage was hundred times better. Now it's just garbage and hard to read so I had to turn it off…

Having a 13PM and a Watch Series 8, I think ios 16.2 is actually best on the 13PM. It's actually the best version of iOS in a while in terms of stability and performance on my 13PM, and the latest WatchOS also runs pretty much perfect on my S8 as well. Personally, I think I would wait for the iPhone 15.
Need always on display features on iPhone 13 and above model’s
I turned off the always on display because it wasn’t very efficient for the battery
After three months, my battery health of my iPhone, 14 pro is still at 100%. I maintain the battery and never let it go past 50% when I’m not using the phone. It’s on low-power mode to preserve the battery.
I’m only getting between 5 to 6 hours with my iPhone, 14 pro if I use it fully but if I don’t I can get more out of the phone
Sometimes I miss iOS 15 it was much more stable
I’ve currently got my notifications in list view because I didn’t like the default stack view
I’m still getting used to the new iOS 16 notification layout wish I could change back to the old way
I think Apple will support the same devices with iOS 17, because I was 16 hasn’t been the greatest on old iPhones like the iPhone 8😊
With iOS 16 I haven’t seen this buggy since iOS 11

I am not much excited on Lock Screen customisations. It looks more of primitive and old manner. In addition battery is getting worse as I had experience in my 12 mini . Even with normal usage I could see battery health drops from 94 to 88 in just 3 months .
Now after the new update I think its stable 88
I’m having trouble with my iPhone 12 mini ever since I updated to 16 & 16.2 is worse. One problem is the screen, I have it in dark mode, but when I use the music app after a few minutes I close it & go to the Home Screen. Now it’s brighter then before. The only thing that fixes it is closing it by swiping up. This happens with U-Tube sometimes also, it never happened before, why is it happening now? Any help would be appreciated!
dude you can sometimes talk about bugs, 85% of users are facing it on iOS 16.
Just upgraded to an iphone 14 pro from a 13 mini and so far battery life is much worse on ios16. Hoping this can be fixed with an update soon as better battery life is one of the reasons I upgraded!
I’ve been having the screen glitches (yellow and green lines) on my 14pm every-time I wake the screen, I’ve been to apple and they say that the new update will fix it, I really hope it does because it’s so frustrating

Apple is not like it use to be. Not only is the hardware having issues, their software has issues. Apple stuff use to work rock solid. Not anymore. Some of the issues have been there in IOS for years. I guess Apple can't fix their own stuff.
The arrow indicator gets permanently fixed on the upper left corner of the notch next to the time it’s so infuriating. It seems to only occur when I use the LYFT app but even though I deleted the app the arrow indicator remains still.
5G in india is great, I get about 600-700 mb/s in my house, luckily my whole lane is one of the only places in Hyderabad to have 5g,,,.,. and I love it
