Love the plus 5 awesome lights effect good sound quality and punchy bass. However my mum won't let me buy the jbl plus 5. If i do i will be kicked out the house. However still the jbl plus 5.
Where’s the link to the Pulse 5. I can only find the Pulse 4 search results.
I see no search results for Pulse 5, only results for Pulse 4 and Charge 5. Not even on JBL website.
First of all, your set-up is dope! PartyBoost with the light of Pulse series is MAJOR DOPE.
Anyway, I bought this last December 13, 2022 as an additional speaker for my 3y/o Pulse 4 (which I already sold 3weeks after purchasing the 5). I love the light show more on the Pulse 5 as well as its Bass. But the brighter sound of recent JBLs bothers me including this. Good thing this has equalizer so here's my EQ: -1 on Treble, neutral on Mid, and Max on Bass.
I know this one sounds better than the Pulse 4 but for me, specifically on Bass. I still like the sound of the 4 a bit, I dunno why. Maybe this 5 is a bit bright for me. I remember how I love Pulse 3's sound than my Pulse 4 because of the stereo effect and more wide sound.
Anyway, the battery life of the Pulse 4 is BETTER than the Pulse 5 which is expected and that's one of the best thing about the Pulse 4, you can enjoy lights and sound at the same time and longer than the Pulse 5. Also the body of the Pulse 4 looks better and more consistent.
Maybe I'll learn to love my Pulse 5 soon.

I got the flip 6 and does sound good. But i get about 3 hrs at little over half volume. Charging cant keep up with it and dies out. Charging in car charger though
