I upgraded due to the fact I had an old 11 pro max in the house not being used and received a large discount off the 14 pro max. If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t have upgrade from my 13 pro max to 14 pro max. Not worth upgrading. My reception has gotten better with the new phone I’ll admit. The dynamic island is fun to watch it do it’s thing. The camera was possibly the biggest change apple did but they put such a limitation on it. The fact that 48 mp is only activated in RAW is extremely disappointing. It makes using the 48 MP camera impractical. An average raw photo is 75 Mb. The file being this large impacts everything from sharing in text message , to posting online and etc. this is one thing apple I believe completely dropped the ball with. Yeah type c charging would have been great but I think the 48 mp camera now is such a niche feature on this phone. If your a professional photographer or love editing photos on Lightroom or etc great for you but for casual user who just wants the best picture possible your stuck in a dilemma. Do I shoot in standard and stay limited to 12 MP or do I go shoot in raw but take up so much space on my phone and limit sharing options. Hope apple fixes this with software because if this phone stays like this and the iPhone 15 solves this problem it will be a dirty play by apple. Unless there are hardware limitations I don’t know about that causes this. If so and anyone wants to educate me please do. Ready student here
Waiting on my 14pm. I am going from my 12pm and look forward to the updates. If I had a 13pm, I would probably wait until next year. Upgraded camera on the 14pm is fire; rich hues and overall quality is outstanding! Once I get my 14pm, I’ll give you an update. Thanks again for the outstanding videos!
The iPhone 14 pro max was worth the upgrade for me I was using a not so good iPhone 7 were I was getting a max battery life of 3 hours on my iPhone 7 my iPhone 14 pro max I am getting 13-15 hours on a charge

Does the battery icon glyph on the iphone 14 pro max look different from the 13 pro? Like the gauge seems half depleted on the 14, but not on the 13? Just noticed it lol

Question have been getting “SIM msg error with “SOS” msg as well upper right next to SS bars. This started since 16.0.2 update. This msg is random reboot and pulled out SIM card from IP 13 cleaned card re-insert as well. Have TMobile calling tech support to get answer. Just wanted to pass this to u in case others has this problem . Thanks L. Ruiz NY
815A update… TMobile connected me with Apple support it appears there maybe a bug with 16.0.2 update. Apple will address problem and later determine if an update is needed.

I am happy with 13pro max battery is better than 14pro max and camera except action mode is basically just5%good as i saw in your video and photo samples
no USB-C, still 6Gb ram, no wifi6e … 3 big reasons i'll be sticking w/my 12PM … and when i do upgrade i'll be dropping the MAX and going back to the non-MAX version
I upgraded from my 12 pro max. I think the upgrade was worth it. The display smoothness and brightness is nice. Face ID works bothe vertically and horizontally.

I jus ordered a 14 pro max and I didn’t even take into consideration the island getting in the way of videos, I don’t know if it’s gonna bother me that much but now that u mention it compared to the 13 idk
I dont like that the island cuts the screen… they must fix this some how

I have the 13 Pro Max and I try my best to skip a generation between each Pro Max. I’m always tempted though.
If you’re using iPhone 11 or newer, buying a new phone is basically a waste of money.
